- Hitcher - 2010-07-03 grupy Wrote:I was just going to ask about this. Also, if any XBOX users can let me know what XBMC build their using with Alaska (xbox version) please let me know as I have been away from XBMC for a while now and am trying to catch up. I use exobuzz's builds so I can use iPlayer - http://malus.exotica.org.uk/~buzz/xbmc/xbox/ - grupy - 2010-07-03 Hitcher Wrote:I use exobuzz's builds so I can use iPlayer - I appreciate the reply, Hitcher. I installed the latests exobuzz's build for my XBOX and when I try to switch to Alaska Revisited, I get a message mentioning "incompatible skin, require version 2.10 or higher" is there a fix or something for this? Right now its stored as: /E/Apps/XBMC/skin/Alaska Revisited/ - Hitcher - 2010-07-03 That'll be because there's no skin.xml in the version you're downloading - I'll get the Xbox one up soon. - grupy - 2010-07-03 Hitcher Wrote:That'll be because there's no skin.xml in the version you're downloading - I'll get the Xbox one up soon. Okay, I was downloading the version from the SVN link located at the first thread. I appreciate your reply and will wait for the XBOX version to be uploaded. I wanted to thank you for keeping a XBOX version for those of us that are still on the old platform - thanks! - Hitcher - 2010-07-04 It's been a busy few days but here's what's been added - DialogFavourites.xml LockSettings.xml LoginScreen.xml ProfileSettings.xml SettingsProfile.xml SmartPlayListEditor.xml SmartPlaylistRule.xml VideoOSDBookmarks.xml FileManager.xml MyMusicPlaylist.xml MyMusicPlaylistEditor.xml MyVideoPlaylist.xml DialogFileStacking.xml SlideShow.xml And now this a complete skin. - grupy - 2010-07-05 excellent news...cant wait for the xbox version - Ram2000 - 2010-07-05 This is a GREAT skin and your NO SUPPORT rocks :-) thanks for sticking with us noobs and still adding the bits we dont have a clue how to NO1 thanks again. - ClayM - 2010-07-05 This is now my go-to skin for v10. Is there a movie wall screen or am I just missing it? - caboosification - 2010-07-05 Hitcher what build do you recommend for the windows/nix side ? - Hitcher - 2010-07-05 At least 31232 as I'm using the new seek labels added in that build but I'd just use the latest. - scalpel - 2010-07-05 can somebody upload skin.alaska.revisited somewhere. I can't download it from trunk. Thanks - Hitcher - 2010-07-05 There's a direct download link in the first post. - scalpel - 2010-07-05 You think about mediafire download? Uploaded 07/05/2010: Month/Day/Year or Day/Month/Year That confused me I'm downloading it now. - efty.edge - 2010-07-05 Hi Hitcher, sorry but its me again. In my last post i told you that it seems to be a problem to see the movie cover/poster in the Information view. You answered, there isn't one ... But today i had a little time, so i did an test setup. I used the latest XBMC SVN V31632 and your Revisited skin from your SVN an hour ago. I made an clean install, first with the confluence skin and everything works fine. In the movie information Screen the cover is shown. When i only switch to Alaska Revisited, the same setup shows no Cover in the info screen. I use the Windows Version of XBMC and tried different cover/poster filenames like poster.tbn, poster.jpg, folder.tbn, folder.jpg, movie.tbn, etc. Everything works under Confluence but not under your skin. But when i enter the File View the Cover is shown. I hope you have an idea. Efty - darkestbeaker - 2010-07-06 Hi Hitcher, Think I may have found a bug and I thought I would mention it to you. I noticed that when you toggle 'Hide Music' both 'Hide Music' and 'Hide Movies' change. Did a little poking around in the XML files and found the following File: CustomSettings.xml <control type="radiobutton" id="254"> <include>SettingsLabel</include> <label>$LOCALIZE[40015]</label> <onclick>Skin.ToggleSetting(NoMusic)</onclick> <selected>Skin.HasSetting(NoMusic)</selected> </control> <control type="radiobutton" id="255"> <include>SettingsLabel</include> <label>$LOCALIZE[40016]</label> <onclick>Skin.ToggleSetting(NoMusic)</onclick> <selected>Skin.HasSetting(NoMusic)</selected> </control> Includes_HomeIcon.xml <item id="2"> <description>Music</description> <label>$LOCALIZE[2]</label> <icon>homeicons/musicicon.png</icon> <onclick>ActivateWindow(Music)</onclick> <visible>!Skin.HasSetting(NoMusic)</visible> </item> <item id="3"> <description>Movies</description> <label>$LOCALIZE[342]</label> <icon>homeicons/moviesicon.png</icon> <onclick>ActivateWindow(VideoLibrary,movietitles)</onclick> <visible>!Skin.HasSetting(NoMusic)</visible> </item> Includes_HomeList.xml <item id="2"> <description>Music</description> <label>$LOCALIZE[2]</label> <label2>$INFO[Window.Property(Music.AlbumsCount),, $LOCALIZE[132]]</label2> <icon>homelist/musicicon.png</icon> <thumb fallback="backdrops/music/music.jpg">$INFO[Skin.String(CustomMusicFolder)]</thumb> <onclick>ActivateWindow(Music)</onclick> <visible>!Skin.HasSetting(NoMusic)</visible> </item> <item id="3"> <description>Movies</description> <label>$LOCALIZE[342]</label> <label2>$INFO[Window.Property(Movies.Count),, $LOCALIZE[342]]</label2> <icon>homelist/moviesicon.png</icon> <thumb fallback="backdrops/movies/movies.jpg">$INFO[Skin.String(CustomMoviesFolder)]</thumb> <onclick>ActivateWindow(VideoLibrary,movietitles)</onclick> <visible>!Skin.HasSetting(NoMusic)</visible> </item> As one might imagine, changing the applicable values to NoMovies and adding the entry below to guisettings.xml cleared it up. <setting type="bool" name="skin.alaska.revisited.nomovies">false</setting> Thanks for an awesome skin. |
