Hitcher Wrote:Does it only happen on Watched episodes? If so it sounds like a texture loading problem.

it happens on both watched and none watched but it does not seem to be a problem at all on the big alaska with the same landscape view but on your revisited and normal alaska it happens

So you still see this on watched episodes?

And what about Movies in the same mode?

hi mate

it happens in moves as well its on all the time just about, the strange thing is it happens stright away but when i load BIG alaska in and try it by going to different tv shows and movies back and forth for 15min it just does not do it at all soon as i load your skin back in it happens stright away.

this has happened since day 1 of getting this skin but thought it was just a xbmc bug but thats not the case.

it could be somthing to do with the fading of the thumb when not selected as when you select a episode and its highlighted there is no corrupt gfx on the thumb so i dont know if its some sort of overlay problem as it just seems to happen on the edges of the box.

cheers

first, thanks for revisiting alaska! it's nice to feel clean again! since i like things to be as minimalistic as possible, i was wondering if you would someday allow for hiding of shutdown, play disc, and profiles? it's a beautiful skin but it just makes me want to remove anything unnecessary! Smile thanks again for the clean lines!

From where exactly?

any joy on that other problem mate

from the home screen. basically, i only want the home screen to contain a very limited number of items. preferably, i would be able to remove those items from any of the home layouts (right now, my personal favorite is the default home layout but it seems to have the least amount of hiding customization as far as i can tell). thanks, hitcher!

Not since my big update - you can hide any and all items now.

Shutdown and Profiles in the submenu can be hidden and Play Disc only appears if you have a disc in the tray (which is how it should work).

I'm at a loss to the cause I'm afraid.

I've checked all the textures used and there's nothing wrong with them; and no-one else has reported the problem.

Can you take a proper screen shot with XBMC so maybe I can see it better?

hey hitcher.
great job on the skin, just one question lol

is it possible to add a random option to the movies section? or even just a shortcut such as "ctrl + r"?

any code i can copy and paste would be fine too.

trying the new build of xbmc and still the same problem with the corrupt thumb must be the skin as other big alaska skin does not seem to do it

They're quite different skins really.

Open up the Viewtype_Landscape.xml and change this <texture>landscapeframeNF.png</texture> to this <texture>-</texture> and report back as that's the only texture that overlays the actual icon.

still the same mate a very strange one as it doe snot do it on that other skin

So there's no texture over the episode icon but that glitch still shows up?

Can you post an XBMC screen shot (press Print Screen).
