Can you please change the xmls to use the avc1.png when codec is "microsoft"
If you remux a Blu-ray or HD DVD and mux it with mkvmerge, that's what it's called. I've always fixed this by making a duplicate of the avc1.png and name it microsoft.png before (never came around to report this one).

Never even heard of a 'microsoft' codec before today.
If you're sure it's the same as avc1 then I'll do the same to the flag images.

he's likely on about vc-1. something != avc1 which is basically another name for h264

I see the Wiki has been updated since I last looked -
Shows the video codec of the currently selected video (common values: 3iv2, avc1, div2, div3, divx, divx 4, dx50, flv, h264, microsoft, mp42, mp43, mp4v, mpeg1video, mpeg2video, mpg4, rv40, svq1, svq3, theora, vp6f, wmv2, wmv3, wvc1, xvid)
We really could do with these things being standardised for use across all skins similar to the current weather images otherwise it's hard to keep up-to-date.

I'm sure. I always have to fix this with every skin I've tried to have the VC-1 flag show for my Blu-ray remuxes.

Isn't the Microsoft codec used for high-def WMV-HD?

'the microsoft codec' = VC-1. it's one of 3 codecs supported on blurays. as i tried to say earlier, it is NOT the same as avc1 which is the same as h264.

Not saying AVC1 = VC-1. I said that the flag in Alaska is named avc1.png but should be named microsoft.png.

Hi there
for some strange reason when you swap between profiles the first window that is selected or highlighted which has a picture in the centre box does not display not untill you move it from left or right does it pop back up otherwise its empty is this a bug ? as when you load xbmc up from the first time it works ok but not when you swap profiles.
and as my 2nd profile only has movies theres nothing in the picture window

I can´t chage viewtype for films and music. In music i just have "files" view and in movies "files" and "landscape"... i don't see viewtypes settings in settings, aren't there anymore viewtypes?

I Music mode: Should i be able to switch to something other then fileview? because i am unable to change anything.
TV show panel view: It does show the logo on the upper left, although most of the times it does display the text as well. Anyway to change this?
