- ghostelement - 2010-11-13

Is this script going to get added to the add-ons repository anytime soon?

- uomiarz - 2010-11-14

thx htpc_guy for instructions and kaisjam for the script - i really hate switching to boxee just for pandora Smile

question/request
pressing "menu" apparently kills the script
is there any way out of it to browse pics while music is playing?

thx

You guys are lucky, I cannot get this script to work for the life of me.

I installed just like it said in the first post, it didnt work. I installed the zip file from the poster who posted it on mediafire. It still did not work. All I get is a script failed error and I even downloaded the updated keys and still no go. Anyone have any suggestions for me?

- Th3R00st3r - 2010-11-14

After reading 26 pages of updates and script changes, has the first post been updated with complete new instructions? I would like to give this a try without having to compile all the posts to get the correct instrctions..

Thanks!

I'm not really sure if the first post has been updated to reflect the changes. try installing the addon using the instructions in the first post. Try to run it. If it fails then jump to post 243 in this forum. That will give you instructions on how to bring the program up to date. After that it should be working just fine.

Pandora playlist creation - jaredades - 2010-11-15

Pandora play songs I like, like it's supposed to. Many times I have the songs Pandora plays on my HD. Is it possible to save or record a Pandora Playlist for later use in XBMC with my own music library?

- TheUriah - 2010-11-16

Is there any way for those of us who aren't programmers to fix it?

Like, is there a version of the files already edited somewhere I can download?

- spbogie - 2010-11-17

Sorry for the delay, should be all good again. Fixed the addon.xml so it shows under Music addons as well. Make sure you grab the v29 keys.

- midevilshadow - 2010-11-19

Wow amazing guys, I've got this up and running with the proxy version and it's working like a champ.

One thing though, I was wondering if I could add a new station straight from xbmc? Have I overlooked anything, or has it not been implemented yet?

Can't seem to get this running... - wapkaplet - 2010-11-20

I can't seem to get this script running, and can't figure out why. Here's the entry in the log file:

I downloaded all the crypt files using the raw link, and I'm using the 9.11 version of the script.

Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Ok, I installed as per instructions and it works B..E..A..utiful Thank you to all those that have put time and work into this. If you are ever in the area I'll buy you a beverage of your choice.

Now for the question.. Is there a way to change the script to ask for
A) Which user login? What i mean is I have an account and my wife has an account..the way it is installed now who ever logs in first is permanently logged in. I didn't see a log out button. It would be nice to open the Pandora and have it say user XXX or User YYY
B) Add a log out button so next time Pandora is started it will not default to a certain profile.

If I were smart enough I would attempt this myself but I had no clue what an xml was until 11/8 when I first found xbmc and tried to install it on my PC

Thank you again to all those that have helped

- spbogie - 2010-11-22

@wapkaplet
The 9.11 Camelot version has been unmaintained for a while, and a number of things have changed since then. You may try replacing libpandora/pianoparser.py with the version from the latest revision. You will also need to change PROTOCOL_VERSION in libpandora/pandora.py to 29. No guarantees, but give it a try.

@NOT_U
Glad it's working well for you. The way account info is stored remembering multiple accounts could be difficult. As for logging out, the script in effect logs you out every time you quit, it just stores your information to log back in. You can change your account from the addon settings menu before launching the script (open the context menu with Pandora selected in the addons list and select addon settings)

NOT_U Wrote:Is there a way to change the script to ask for
A) Which user login?

This is definitely a workaround but you may be able to accomplish this by using separate xbmc logins. At least in my mind that would work. I haven't tried it out.

- brianewing - 2010-11-22

Guys,

I can't login into Pandora. I'm getting a an error message that says "failed to authenticate listener." Of course I double checked my Pandora password and username info.

I'm running Dharma.

Any suggestions?

- NOT_U - 2010-11-22

@spbogie
Thanks again for all the time you put into this, I can change the user in the settings.

@htpc guy
If you try it let me know how it worked out for you, I'll do them same if I get to feeling a little froggy. But right now I am trying to teach myself how to read and understand scripts and xml so it might be awhile till i get around to it.
