Looks like the 480p h264 content is only working on the first video played in XBMC after launching. CrystalHD fails to open on the second and each attempt afterwards.
http://janpingel.com/misc/files/xbmc.old.log <-- Around line 17065 it fails where it worked the first time around 2163

I have to reboot the AppleTV to get it to work once more. Exiting XBMC and starting it up again doesn't work as the device fails to initialize at startup until a reboot.

http://janpingel.com/misc/files/xbmc.log <-- here it fails immediately after exiting XBMC and starting it up again without a reboot

Tried sleep on Mac OS X 10.6.4 with r160, Crystal HD stops working after resume.

XBMC Dharma beta 1.

Before sleep:

After resume:

xbmc.log and kernel.log

you will need the next pending beta build for this to work properly.

Mac mini / bcm70012 / OSX 10.6.4 / CrystalHD 3.8.0 / Dharma beta 2
i get 2 things:
1. when playing movie, in dmesg there is lot lines written with "getting picture info" and some "invalid line number"
dmesg log: http://pastebin.com/mfQAFVbY
2. when "pause" movie and after that "play", the movie get slow for half minute, and i see the vq go to 0%, and slowly go up to ~90%. that happen with dharma beta 2. with beta 1 its not happen.

I have problems playing 1080i MPEG-2 videos (stuttering).

I found references to a known issue with interlaced videos, but since this isn't mentioned in the CrystalHD status thread, and there's no history for me to look if it was ever there, I just don't know if it should be fixed now or not.

Platform: Mac OS X 10.5, Mac Mini (2008), XBMC Dharma beta 2, CrystalHD (BCM70015) with driver 3.6.0 (r156)
(Also tested on r34458; same behaviour.)

1. Full xbmc debug log

2. Media info for the offending file
Short version: 1920x1080 interlaced MPEG-2, with AC3 audio, in a MPEG-PS container.

3. Describe the issue in as many details as you can:
When playing videos recorded from OTA HD broadcasts (using an EyeTV Hybrid), playback is very choppy (video only; audio seems fine).

4. 75MB file clip

I have problems playing certain H.264 videos; the image quality is worst than what I get if I disable CrystalHD decoding in settings.
This doesn't happen with all H.264 files.

Platform: Mac OS X 10.5, Mac Mini (2008), XBMC Dharma beta 2, CrystalHD (BCM70015) with driver 3.6.0 (r156)

1. Full xbmc debug log, software decoding
Full xbmc debug log, CrystalHD decoding
The file played is named '22 bullets.mkv', but is in fact a MOV file, that I renamed to .mkv to simplify my test runs.

2. Media info for the offending file
Short version: 1280x544 progressive H.264 High@L4.1, with DTS audio.

3. Describe the issue in as many details as you can:
Screenshot, with software decoding
Screenshot, with CrystalHD decoding
Notice the left and right edges of the spinning thing, in the CrystalHD screenshot.

4. 60MB file clip
Original was a MKV; cut in QT7, and saved as a MOV. Issue was visible with both the original MKV and the cut MOV.

Known issue that is fixed, see http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=82588 and continue any futher discussion in that thread please.

Looks like an audio codec problem "CDVDMessageQueue(audio)::Get - asked for new data packet, with nothing available", try analog out and see if you get the same results. Create a new forum post if you still have problems. If you did get a system crash with 3.8.0, I'd like to see the crashreporter logs, osx wlll make one if the system crashes. New forum post please.
