Some videos are squashed - retro83 - 2010-03-24 I'm using what claims to be 9.11-04 (svn 25498) built by the debian multimedia project. Problem is that my mp4/h264 files are showing up squashed. They're ripped using loose anamorphic mode in Handbrake. My old rips (which are divx/non-anamorphic) show up correctly. The anamorphic mp4s show up correctly in vlc, totem etc. For example, Gran Torino full scr in VLC has picture height of 29.0cm on my screen. In XBMC, the same file has a measured height of 20.5cm. I've done the calibration (nothing needed changing). I had an older XBMC build on Windows which played the files correctly, but I lost it in a HD failure (backup - I know, I know). Debug log here: http://pastebin.com/sb66LdPc I think the relevant bit is this: Code: 23:20:22 T:2754587504 M:2422341632 INFO: ffmpeg[A42FAB70]: Input #0, mov,mp4,m4a,3gp,3g2,mj2, from '/media/media/Video/Films/Gran Torino/Gran Torino.m4v': Anybody else hitting this? - art1go - 2010-07-11 Same problem with an h264 film freshly encoded with Handbrake from a DVD. no workaround found. - gabbott - 2010-07-12 I'm pretty sure this was fixed in SVN a couple weeks ago. Edit: Yup, fixed, see here: http://trac.xbmc.org/ticket/9013 |
