Just installed now UI is 1/4 screen - totalnub - 2010-04-02
Hi guys, I just built a zotac mini-itx htpc and installed xbmc live on it. I am no stranger to linux as I run gentoo on my main rig.
After installing some progs via apt-get, i rebooted and ended up with the xbmc UI shrunken down to less than 1/4 the screen. This seems like a small problem, but I am not sure where to look for help.
Xorg is properly configured and running at my native resolution of 1920x1200.
Any help or links?

Not sure if this will help, but I've seen this when I accidentally hit backslash to set xbmc into windowed mode. Did you try clicking inside of the xbmc window and then hitting backslash to fullscreen it?

ok...i'm officially a noob with xbmc.
I am currently running fluxbox to post here and running xbmc as a windowed app. If i press \ in the window, i get fullscreen. I will test it in the standalone mode and hope it works. Thanks a ton

Otherwise check the overscan adjustment settings.
