[live] newb DVD question - ZooMigo - 2010-04-16 I just built a 2nd live box (Zotac-ION), and this one includes a DVD drive. I currently have some shows on DVD in .mp4 format and would like to be able to load the dvd and watch the shows. I tried going into video -> add source, but cant find a way to add the dvd drive. Do I need to create something like /dev/dvd0 and point to it in my home folder? Someone please point me to (or provide), fairly clear instructions, I don't know all that much about using linux and would really like this to work easy (besides, it needs to be appliance-like so my wife can do it too). Thx bunches in advance. BTW, I usually use SMB shares to watch shows, but i've run out of space on the server and that is the reason I moved the files to dvd. |
