Hooray! Praise the Transparency! skin - dondre - 2010-05-02

Hi all,

Here is what works flawlessly for me (so your best option, give it a try);

XBMC-DX PRE 10.5 SVN r29717 (cf http://sshcs.com/xbmc/)
Transparency 3.00 SVN r329 (cf TortoiseSVN http://transparency-xbmc.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/)
Ember MediaM 1.2 SVN r2187 (cf http://embermediamanager.googlecode.com/files/EmberSetup.exe)

No problems whatsoever, all runs smooth and no bugs so far so good... well done, keep up the good work Nod

Some teasers;

can`t see how to install opensubtitles with this new addon system...do you know how?

- dondre - 2010-05-03

Sorry dude can't help you to straighten that up since I don't use it myself even if I tried it once and was not convinced of the tool accuracy, since then I go to subscene.com to find missing subtitles and it's a success every time, can't tell the same about opensubtitles.org portal Smile

you need xbmc-subtitles, it's the follow-up (and add-on compatible) version of opensubtitles.

just download the script to your xbmc/addons folder in your home directory
and you should be fine.

Simple, just rename the folder containing Transparency! files to "skin.transparency" and put it in your add on folder (global in program files or local in your user folder, your call)

good luck Smile

By the way check out my signature to see what works great as well (most up-to-date state of the art, flawless playback of VC1 + MPEG2 + H264)
