Should I be having problems? - chvybeatsford - 2010-05-05

My problem is 1080p mkv playback and blu Ray playback. It seems way to laggy. But while playing a file either type my CPU usage never goes over 25%.

So what I ask is with my setup should I have these type of problems?

Just got the new tv that's 1080p so I wanna use it to the fullest.

Rig specs

samsung Un55c6500 led 1080p.
Win 7
win DVD 9 ( blue Ray only)updated to play avatar.
Xbmc for everything but blu Ray

Pc specs
AMD Athlon II X2 240 Regor 2.8GHz Socket AM3 65W Dual-Core Processor
Western Digital Caviar Blue WD6400AAKS 640GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/
GIGABYTE GA-MA785GM-US2H
Antec Black M FusionRemote 350 Micro ATX Media Center / HTPC Case
G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel

I'm running through hdmi and digital audio out to a reciver.

Is there some setting in xbmc I should be using?
