Love that! Looks great man!

Just a small update...

Noticed a few backdrops were black on the "premerge" version due to me switching "Largeimage" to background="true"

Short story- No longer black backgrounds on a few views for pre merge version...

Now it's just a matter of waiting for it to come out...lol

Please post an update when it does Big Grin!!

Hey just was thinking and was wondering if anyone likes this idea for changing the view to look more like this...

Gradient fade:

Or

Individual fade:

These are two ways to fade the edges of the screen. One uses a gradient fade and the other changes the opacity of each of the movies cover art to the middle.

Anyone like this idea or is it just me?

BTW, I chose an intense amount of fade to make it noticeable, the end result could be less if it's too much.

I'm a big fan of how that looks. I'd love to give that a try on my machine.

Absolutely love this skin, awesome work! It would be even better if you'd give people the option to choose something different than the "comfortaa" font. It makes the whole skin look rather cheap, which is a shame!

Hey, I'm using the the SVN skin and I'm rather liking it - one thing I would like to see is in the "Recently Added Episodes" playlist (or whatever) if it showed the Show name and perhaps the season. Right now it just shows Episode # and episode title.

I am confused, I am using the latest nightlies on xbmc.org - does this mean I use the merge version?

Did you mean when you queue an item then go to "Now Playing"?

Kind of a terminology thing, some call it Merge compatible, which I do, or some call it 10.5 compatible. If you go into the setting section and you have a section for "addons" use git...If there isn't a "addon" section use the regular download:

How to get the skin from Git if you're on Windows? stupid question I know but when I switched from MP to XBMC last year I used a batchscript from someone here on the forum to download the files.

If you go to Videos -> Library

There's an option for "Recently added episodes"

In there is where I'd like to see the show name and what not.

- mcborzu - 2010-06-30

That "Recently added episodes" node uses whatever views are available for Episodes, and have all relevant info, like so:
