I use watched flags.
I have 126 Movies (as of now) and 56 Series, Ranging from 13 to 321 Episodes each.
This helps me find where I'm at when company comes over and they want to watch older episodes.
Things like my movies I have to have watched items present because I may want to watch the movie again (watched flag a godsend for this). While TV Shows you can have watched Items be hidden.

i think the new watched flag great! in dont use is, cause i want to have a clean screen and i know what ive watched already... as well with my great database!
but i also can understand that a lot of ppl use it and love it... so the update is great! i even can imagine that i use the flags in the future, cause that looks really great... but i think its not the size of database... its only personal preferences!

A rarely used feature, except when I'm on the season-level views. I'd like the sort to be reversed. That way the latest season appears first, which makes the most sense (to me, atleast).

this is possibly a moronic question, and i risk sounding as such by asking, but...
is it possible to use the xbmc svn-ppa (10.00 dharma beta 1) and use the git version of the night skin?
i'd like to have the updated you've recently made available in the git version, for many reasons.
I tried using the svn source and compiling the newest xbmc 33391(?) - but i ran into issues with my external usbs not automounting anymore... but i know the dharma beta 1 works fine for me for some reason.
i also noticed using an older version of the skin i was having weird issues when doing a full fresh library update, some thumbs werent downloading right, etc, mainly graphical. hence why i'd like to use the newest git.

Have you tried opening TVDB in IE I think its down at teh moment.

I tend to watch things in chunks, I'll watch 1/3 of a show or 1/4 of a show or a handful of episodes, then come back to it months or even a year later. I'd be quite impressed if you without watched flags could come back to every show (or series of movies) a year later and remember exactly where you left off. :p My point wasn't to flaunt the size of my collection which differs from the basic numbers I used, but to point out how impractical it would be to not use watched flags on such a large library. :p

I agree, I find having the watched overlay really handy for the same reasons as hikaricore.
On the subject of watched overlays, would it be possible to incorporate one for the wall view? Some form of notation by the title would suffice as I'm guessing making an overlay for the wall itself could prove somewhat awkward...

REQUEST: Is there any way to provide a thumbnail view for movies? As many as you'd like in a row, just keep the media flags on the bottom and just the posters.
The wall kind of does the same thing but I feel like I miss alot of movies trying to navigate through the wall, just feels messy.
Rapier and Focus have great thumbnail views but I really want to switch to this skin. Specially because of the HD Movie category.

I have clearArt for my tv shows and the images show up when paused, but when I press the info I get a thumbnail from the tv show not a clearArt
How can I have clearArt in the info OSD as well?

I use a external program to watch TV, starts firefox browser and have two other Apps they i start directly from xbmc homescreen - but i must edit after every skin update manualy the home.xml to add this Menue poinst to lunch this apps.
is there a way to make new homescreen menue points in skin settings and set there the program how must lunch when i click on it?
when yes, is it make possible to select, for every entrie .... when program is lunching the xbmc medias stops or played in continue?
currently i use command-lines like this in my home.xml for new menue points:

Yes, there is a work around.
Use the addon Executor from the Repo or in the launcher addon:

(I had to use Launcher, because the Executor has problems with spaces in path)
Add your app and then add this Launcher entry to favorites.
Now you can use the Night options for custom favorite on home menu...
