Using XBMC as a multi-zone audio source - humanzoo - 2010-05-26 Hi, I asked this over at the Linux section but no responses, thought I would try here. Does anyone know if it is possible to run multiple instances of XBMC with different configurations under Ubuntu. My goal is to have a single computer output multiple streams of audio from either different sound cards or from different outputs of the same sound card. I have this working on a Windows XP box and use XBMC Remote to control it. It works pretty well. You can easily select which zone/stream you want to access. I'm sure the idea was to control several XBMC computers but being able to provide multiple feeds from a single box makes for an extremely affordable media server. I would like to run it on an older computer with Linux if possible. Thanx - TugboatBill - 2010-05-26 Why is this posted in the Android Developer forum? - the_alien - 2010-05-26 1.
