it's not in official repo for now, you need to downlaod it appart.

Ah yeah it isn't an addon. I doubt i'll be uploading it to the xbmc addon repo honestly.

use a svn client to download sources.

Ok, so I downloaded SmartSVN trial version and managed to download the skin somehow...I cannot quite see why one should install another program just to get a skin...

You don't need git for the Repo, about half the guys use SVN

i'm only using svn for repo, no need for git.
