Some skins show a metadata icon when there's a subtitle for the file (such as T!).
Would it be possible to
1)Update the information in the library so that a subtitle meta icon shows up for shows XBMC Subtitles downloads a sub for?
2)Update the associated .nfo file to also reflect this?
Issues downloading from Podnapisi - funbubba - 2011-10-15
Hi Amet,
I'm having issues downloading subtitles from Podnapisi from my OpenElec 0.99.7 setup. It is able to display a list of subtitles available for download but it seems to hang at "Downloading subtitles..." I'm able to download from other subtitle sites though. Here's a snip from the log.

1. Not from a xbmc subtitles addon
2. Definately not from xbmc subtitles addon
However with xbmc core modifications this could be possible

Try manually installing 2.9.23 version for Eden-pre xbmc

here are some freeze logs from navi-x (V3.7.1 but it has been like that with 3.5.4, 3.6, 3.7...)
This one is while using the remote to start subtitles script. Freeze occurs exactly when manual entry is selected after a failed dummy name search:

Happens in about 5% of attempts.
This one is while using a keyboard. Freeze occurs after pressing OK in the manual entry text dialog (in this particular case - after one successful search has been performed already)

Same rate is monitored when using the remote to enter text.
Identical behavior is observed on 10+ setups with iOS 4.3 and 4.2.2 all running 10.0-9 and 2.9.23

no, idea... it just stops in the logs,no indication what is happening.
does it only crash if you do it via navi-X?

They have no need for regular manual entry anywhere besides navi-x.. so the percentage would drop significantly and it would be hardly noticable but I can try to reproduce anyway.. thanks for your time!
Edit: Can't reproduce it with SMB movies or fastpass

I am checking out this plugin for the first time...Will this pull subtitles for online streams such as icefilms, or do the videos have to be on my hard drive?

Are subtitles downloaded to a temporary folder? - woompa - 2011-10-16
or must they be manually deleted after a movie is over? I can confirm it works on Icefilms with my ATV2, I just want to be sure that the downloaded subtitle files will not accumulate and overload the available disk space. Thanks for the great plugin!

I'm using XBMC Subtitles along with Icefilms and it works excellent!
Turn off subtitles - woompa - 2011-10-17
How do I turn off subtitles? Sometimes they will not sync with video and I would rather turn them back off when that happens.
On another note what does it mean when it says "Local subtitle available" at the bottom of the subtitles list? Does that mean that subs are already embedded in the video file? If so, how do I turn those on?
Sorry for all the questions. I love this plugin so far and I want to use it more often when I figure out all the tricks to it

when I press the subtitlebutton all I get is script failed.
