giuliocoluccia Wrote:Hi,
it would be really cool for Italian speaking users the support for http://www.italiansubs.net since it contains a lot of subs in Italian. It requires a login and password but, as far as I can see, this is a feature that is supported by this plugin which is one of the best and most useful.

+1 for the request of support to http://www.italiansubs.net
+10 for the plugin

Thank you for your work
I've send an update with support for italiansubs.net, called "Itasa" (ITAlian Subs Addicted) :-) to Amet.
So it should become available in the very near future.

Guys, thank you for that! Now it seems that my current version of the plugin is 2.2.1 and I can't upgrade. As soon as it upgrades, I'll send you my feedback.

EDIT: It works just fine. Thank you *very* much for that.

Opensubtitles simplexml is now working.

Hello,

This add-on is really interesting but I'm french and there isn't french sources...
What about integrate sous-titres.eu that is really good for TV Shows and films ?
Or tvsubtitles.net (really quick, for TV Shows, and available in many languages) ?

Thanks for your attention.

Still having the same problem (look at page 57) with this adddon on SubDivX and pelisalacarta, no answer from jamesonmula.

EDIT: I know nothing about python, but I have been looking at the service.py and I think I have found the problem. I managed to search, download and unpack, but it freezes and doesn't play the subtitles, but if someone helps me I think I'm very close... msn: ramirodlp(at)gmail(dot)com

Hello,
I have a Ion with a svn version installed in the HD (a version previous to the dharma beta releases), and the subtitles addon configured and working well.
I have intalled the new Dharma version in a USB stick, and I'm testing it and all is fine except that the subtitles plugins only find me very few subtitles.
When I switch to the older version, it find me a lot of subs, but the new version most of the times doesn't find any subs.

The older subtitles addon version is de 1.1.8, and the new is the 1.2.2.
The search motors I'have tested are opensubtitles, subllight and subdivx.

What could be the problem?
Thanks all

current version is 2.2.3 , not sure where you found 1.2.2

- gpulido - 2011-01-07

Sorry amet, you're right, is the 2.2.3 version.
I have made more test and it seems that the problems is that the addon is using the parent's folder name as searching string, instead of the file's own name string
So, if I have the file " /Season 2/seriesname.s02e05" the addon is searching for "Season 2"
and obviously, this can't return anything usefull from the subs servers...
What can i do?
thanks

Disable it under addon setting

Thanks and suggestionfor addic7ed service - pilluli - 2011-01-07

Hi,

I really can not say this enough, thank you for this excellent addon!! We use it for every episode we watch and works like a charm. Paired with the addic7ed service (the web I used before) has stopped me to open the web browser to find subs ever again! Big Grin

A small suggestion to the addic7ed service. In the result pane, both the "normal" and the "hearing impaired" versions are shown with the same name so it is not easy to distinguish between the two. Maybe adding a suffix "_hi" to the name could be an easy solution.

In any case, as said, thanks again for it!!

I'll have a look if I can see the hearing impaired tag once scraping is done.

Thx for the suggestion Smile

First and foremost thanks for the excellent plug in that subtitles is.

one thing that could improve is the adjust timing bar, why stop it at -10 and +10?

It could be very nice to just have it to be an unlimited slider.

it is not up to XBMC Subtitles, subtitle ofset is done by XBMC itself.

oh. I will write it in another thread then Smile
