Hi Amet, Thanks for the info. You are right. I also installed xbmc with basic skin on another computer, and it had the OSD part. After selecting the Media Stream Skin, it disappeared. :-)

Thanks again. Let hope they will update soon. I will drop them a line.

Issues on Mac XBMC - risner - 2010-12-25 02:41

Back to XBMC, spent with Plex 8, upgraded to Plex 9 and no support for deleting files so I can't use Plex 9.

I noticed XBMC had a Subtitle downloader, so I got real excited.

But I have issues right now getting several things working on XBMC:

1) I can't figure out how to get in the OSD to see the Subtitle downloader. I have the XBMC Subtitles plugin downloaded, enabled, script path set, configured to use addic7ed, and no idea how to "get it running"

When I hold Menu down I get a file listing with a mini version of the video playing in lower left but no Subtitle Download?

2) I can't figure out how to get SVN downloader installed. I hit menu and it shows up and if I select it, nothing happens.

3) Transmission plugin locks up forever and I need to kill XBMC to get control back.

1 while running a movie. Press menu. (C key ) On the top of the screen a bar is visible. One for bookmarks, audio settings , videosetting and one for accessing the sub plugin. ( not the I )

2 install SVN manually. From within XBMC is not supported

3 sorry no idea

1) Ok found it, but it was not obvious the little button on a string off to the top left was either not just art. I assumed since it was separated from everything else, it was just there to look pretty. Shouldn't it be on the 4 way (cross) on top or bottom so it looks like something you can also click? I kept going into bookmarks and other of them looking, and never thinking that little thing was also an option.

2) How do I do this? Am I just mis-remembering? Because I remember previous versions of XBMC allowed me to install this in the gui and it worked to upgrade versions?

2. That was replaced with addon manager.

giuliocoluccia Wrote:Hi,
it would be really cool for Italian speaking users the support for http://www.italiansubs.net since it contains a lot of subs in Italian. It requires a login and password but, as far as I can see, this is a feature that is supported by this plugin which is one of the best and most useful.

+1 for the request of support to http://www.italiansubs.net
+10 for the plugin

Thank you for your work
I've send an update with support for italiansubs.net, called "Itasa" (ITAlian Subs Addicted) :-) to Amet.
So it should become available in the very near future.

Guys, thank you for that! Now it seems that my current version of the plugin is 2.2.1 and I can't upgrade. As soon as it upgrades, I'll send you my feedback.

EDIT: It works just fine. Thank you *very* much for that.

Hello,

This add-on is really interesting but I'm french and there isn't french sources...
What about integrate sous-titres.eu that is really good for TV Shows and films ?
Or tvsubtitles.net (really quick, for TV Shows, and available in many languages) ?

Thanks for your attention.
