New site - simondagman - 2011-03-17

Hey! Thanks for all the new features, seems really awesome.

I was wondering if it is possible to add http://divxsweden.net/ to the subtitle distributorlist?

newbie question - umibozu - 2011-03-18

first and foremost, thank you for both the development and the continued suppport on the forum. That's way above average.

Now, I do have a question that has me truly baffled. I install the plugin from the repository but I can't find the option
under System->Skin->Addon Shortcuts->Video OSD
as you mention on your first post; for me there's nothing under lyrics (Music OSD).

I have tried to reinstall from repository and to install 2.3.9 from zipfile to no avail. Any hints?

thanks again for all you do

Sorry, i meant below that. I mean there's no further option below for me, unlike what you show in the screen caps, the last one for me is about lyrics. I'd expect to see the skin config option for subtitles but it does not show up.

Guess there must be something wrong with my xbmc install but I don't know where to poke

I know that it changed at some point, try playing a movie and click on the subtitle button, it should bring up the select dialogue

What skin are you using? Try an updated version of Confluence and see if that helps. I'm afraid not all skins have support for this add on...

Sratim.co.il tv show search down - orivar - 2011-03-19

Quick update regarding Sratim.co.il:
The website search was updated today. It's now much faster. However searching for specific TV show episodes is temporarily disabled (according to the site admin). Movie search works just fine.

I will try and give them a few days to re-enable episode search. If they don't I will probably rewrite the search to navigate the website and find the episode recursively, but I really hope I won't have to (a lot more complicated than the way it works now).

ghostofdeath Wrote:Hi I have a question/request, is it any possible you make it avaliable for streaming? I'm using icefilms streaming service and it's pretty good but I need subtitles to work with it now and I cant with downloaded subs and neither with your addon.

Works fine for me with icefilms. I've tested using an episode of The Simpsons and the OpenSubtitles service. I did get a warning that the file can't be saved in the video folder and must be saved in a temporary folder, but that's to be expected when streaming video instead of playing a local file.

No subs from Subscene - sleeptalker - 2011-03-21

mr_blobby Wrote:Subscene works fine on my XBMC machine.
I will look into it if you can provide me with an example subtitle that can be found on the Subscene site, and not with the addon.

I have the same problem. Before it found the subtitles everytime. Now it never finds anything on subscene. One example is Glee.S02E15.HDTV.XviD-LOL
Its no use to give an example really as it doesn't find anything.

First I tried automatically by clicking the sub button. Nothing. Then I typed in the exact filename I found on Subscene. Still nothing.

Apologies if this is answered elsewhere (I searched pretty hard). Is there a way to set a custom save directory on an SMB share in a place other than the Movie source folder?

Using ATV2 with latest XBMC and Subtitle add on (2.4.0). It can save to the SMB share fine, but the file dialog that comes up for selecting the custom save location defaults to the local (/var/mobile) file system and there does not seem to be a way to move up to select an SMB share or to type in a path manually.

Thanks

try and add source to your SMB path in file manager, you should be able to select it then

Hi,

Any chance you (amet) or someone else can include Napisy24.pl ?
This is the best and the biggest Polish website with subtitles.

Many thanks.

- StarLite - 2011-03-22

I have a problem with the script, it does not appear to find *any* subtitles for me, it always comes back with 0 results, while the website itself does give me results when I manually search on them.
Running 10.1 on Windows 7 (Mysql DB & shared thumbnail cache)
Pastebin debug log: http://pastebin.com/pWUeR7Sq

weird thing is that it states
Quote:Failed to get url:http://www.ondertitel.com/?type=1+CD&p=zoek&trefwoord=27+Dresses
While if I paste that link in my browser, it finds the page fine and does show me a list of available subs... :S
It does this for all engines.
