stn1337 Wrote:Me aswell having problem with the Swedish subs to show up, my parents HTPC also.

Undertexter.se shows only English subtitles
Swesub.nu shows some swedish subtitles but very few
Opensubtitles also shows very few swedish subtitles

Those subtitles Swesub and Opensubtitle show is almost never correct with the release.
I have tried to manually search but the same problem, also tried to set first, sec, third language to Swedish but then no subtitles were found, hehe.

Hi, newbie here. Ihave 10.1 installed but I can't get subtitles to work. They are enabled, but when I try to download from the OSD the button is greyed out and won't work. Nothing happens. Appreciate any help. Thanks, Bill.

Did you enabled them from System->Skin->Add-on Shortcuts -> Video OSD ?

- billhar - 2011-06-18

Yes I did. While playing a movie I can see the subtitle button, but it does not work. button is greyed out. Bill

After you enabled it, did you set the path to it?

- billhar - 2011-06-18

I'm not sure how to set a path to it. All I know is subtitles are enabled, Video OSD is enabled, Subs are configured to default, but The subtitle button is greyed out and will not work. Thanks for the help. Bill

have you looked at the first post in this thread? enable subtitles in OSD and then set the path to it .. thats all its needed

- billhar - 2011-06-18

Yes I did set A path to the subs folder. Maybe I need to start over and go back to the first Dharma release, because subs worked in that one. What is the best way to do that? Thanks, Bill

I never said you must set the path to subs folder

please look at the first post again, enable subtitles in OSD and set the path to it right under the enable button

I need your help Amet et al re: subtitles. log included. - j777jsy - 2011-06-20

amet Wrote:leave the debug logging on and enjoy the subtitles Big Grin

Hi Amet et al

I am a XBMC naive person. I will try and explain my problem. I don't get subtitles despite trying few of the options that people have already mentioned..

My debug logs are here

part 1 - http://pastebin.com/TLHThT59

part 2 - http://pastebin.com/1tNXHQmr

I usually stream movies from icefilm rather than downloading it completely. Hence I prefer to have subtitles at the same time. I download the subtitles using podnapisi.net with username and password... it says its downloaded but nothing happens when the movie continues....ie. no subtitles

on the xbmc subtitles setting page under services I have ticked open subtitles.org and subscene.com and undertexter.se

I have also unticked "subtitle download folder same as movie"

downolod folder is /var/mobile/downloads both on the settings and also on system/videos - setting subtitle folder

Dont' know what else to do to get the subtitles..tried a few movies without much effect.

Please help .. Thanks

J

zocario Wrote:Hello,

This add-on is really interesting but I'm french and there isn't french sources...
What about integrate sous-titres.eu that is really good for TV Shows and films ?
Or tvsubtitles.net (really quick, for TV Shows, and available in many languages) ?

Thanks for your attention.

hello,
I've the same question.. today there is not a lot of french subs.
sous-titres.eu is the best source for TV shows ...
can we help on the implementation ?
