Thanks for the reply and apologies, I've been away from home. I'm on Win 7 64-bit and Dharma build, I'm aware this version is for eden and its unsuppored. I just thought it was odd it worked for a while then suddenly, nothing. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the skin, cleaning the database, nothing seems to have worked. I have noticed a couple scripts failing, could it be the recently added script failing to provide data?

Hi Jeroen,
I recently installed on windows 7 latest version of your skin and xbmc (links for 1st post). Just after that the artwork stopped being displayed. I changed every option i found but not luck so far, all i see is the blue background. When i use the back button, like returning from video list screen to main menu, for a moment the artwork is displayed, like if its there in the back with the overlay effect not working.

Wow, I was JUST going to post about this. I suddenly realized I wasn't getting the backdrops either...........how'd I miss that after all this time?

You need to manually delete all entries for reFocus in your guisettings.xml file or just simply delete the guisettings.xml file all together - this is the easiest method. You won't lose any of your databases, just the settings you have changed for every skin This is a file that should be made for each skin and not thrown together IMO but I digress. Restart XBMC and reset your skin options.

It's not odd at all as on Eden there is no such thing as a recently added script, it's a native part of XBMC.
So, please don't report problems if you are using reFocus on Dharma, it's just that simple.

Hi Jeroen !
Just wanted to say that the issue with the black screen also
happens on my ubuntu box. (black right after the refocus logo) I have to press the menu button ones to get the home.xml to load.
Gonna pull latest nightly now and update from your git and see if it still is a valid fault.
This might be a xbmc issue though i havent seen it on any other skins i have tested
I report back.

The same on latest nightly Win32. Also waiting for fix to description bar in gallery view (second+ slide up has no background) and correct font colors and their placement in seekbar.

I too have the latest nightly build for Win32 (compiled 2011-07-31) and I don't experience this issue. Then again, I am using a version of reFocus pulled from Git so this issue may have already been solved.
There was an issue introduced into XBMC a couple of builds ago that caused an issue between a startup and addons if I remember correctly. I'm not sure if it's been corrected though.

Forgot to mention that if you're going to pull from git, you would want to clear all refocus related settings from guisettings.xml like Sranshaft explained here: http://forum.xbmc.org/showpost.php?p=848474&postcount=1430
The git based version has had A LOT of under the hood changes making previously set preferences invalid and maybe conflicting. This won't be happening very often but they were a necessary evil this time.
I'm planning to cleanup and release a new official version within about two weeks.

I have few questions regarding Git version of reFocus: -
1. Are you providing solutions to the questions to the users downloading from Git?
2. There is black blank screen while refocus starts (REFOCUS is default skin). On pressing twice the left directional button on keyboard, the default home screen appears.
3. On clicking on the weather button in the home menu, blank blue screen appears(only the current location is shown in the left top corner). I have to press left directional button to get into the weather settings and then select whether i want 10 day / 36 hours / weekend, etc info. Then the required info arrives.
Will this be corrected or its in initial development and later it will be corrected. The screens are as follows:

4. I have checked the "enable tv logos" in artwork submenu of skin settings. In which view does the logos appear?
