XBMC machine would have to be up and running, or at last the machine that has the DB on it - Adeiko - 2011-09-13 20:45 clubwerks Wrote:You give it the path to your XBMC database. There's actually an example below the input box which is in the settings>notifications. The Problem is, if you have the DB in another machine diferent from the couchpotato (for example i've couchpotato in my NAS and XBMC in my htpc). How can i indicate the location of the database? - HenryFord - 2011-09-13 23:25 You have to set the location of the share (you have to share the db-file)... - clubwerks - 2011-09-13 23:41 Adeiko Wrote:The Problem is, if you have the DB in another machine diferent from the couchpotato (for example i've couchpotato in my NAS and XBMC in my htpc). How can i indicate the location of the database? Set it up as a share on the machine hosting XBMC. Then you'd enter the path like \\computer\path..... - mattressfish - 2011-09-14 00:08 I'm running an external MySQL database for XBMC. Any way to make it work? - akhlaq768 - 2011-09-14 11:31 Will couchpatatoe only work for newsbin sites... or can it thrawl through free torrent sites for the movie? Plus will it work on Win7 machine - shaktoo - 2011-09-15 01:49 akhlaq768 Wrote:Will couchpatatoe only work for newsbin sites... or can it thrawl through free torrent sites for the movie? Yes & Yes !
- akhlaq768 - 2011-09-15 09:22 shaktoo Wrote:Yes & Yes ! you kidding me... so if this can thrawl through free torrent sites and automatically download movies based on a wishlist, then this software is awesome... cant believe this existed without me knowing... lol so can it all be automated from the wishlist to downloading, unzipping and placing it in the movie database within xbmc!! - shaktoo - 2011-09-15 13:29 akhlaq768 Wrote:you kidding me... so if this can thrawl through free torrent sites and automatically download movies based on a wishlist, then this software is awesome... cant believe this existed without me knowing... lol I would advise you to not waste another moment in asking anything further.. download & install it & configure it according to your needs.. I promise you will not be ( totally ) disappointed.. reason I say that is for xbmc use there are still a few more things that I personally require ( extrafanart / full nfo ) which sometimes CP dosent fetch.. for that I use emm-r ( but again that isnt an automated solution.. although I am trying to convince dev's to look into this on emm-r thread) So once again Akhlaq786 sahib, rest assured you wont be disappointed. - iorifly - 2011-09-15 17:48 friends there any way to configure other servers? |
