Ticket created. Any idea where the release date is from? IMDb shows first theatre release 12 feb.

EDIT: Also, being able to sort by release date on main page instead of alphabetically would be great.

Not very accurate for a site whose only goal is to list release dates, is it. Wink

RuudBurger Wrote:Do you have SABNzbd set to delete the .nfo files?
Because this shouldn't happen if an .nfo file with IMDB link exists.

And, maybe it's a sign you should download such shitty movies Wink
movie was downloaded on the wifes behalf. I need to keep her happy so I can spend money on hard drives.

anyways yeah 99.9% of the NFO files that come with a downloaded movie are garbage so yes i have Sab deleting them.

this file however didn't get a movie tag and it ended up in the /complete instead of /complete/movies

so the file is saved, new moon did however get named Twilight

Yeah, but CP uses the .nfo to get the IMDB link. as almost all the nfo files have the link in them. It is much more accurate. So you should set sabnzbd NOT to delete nfo files.
And as you are using CP renaming, it will delete the nfo on clean-up anyway Wink

done deal, im changing that now in SAb

Hmmm, Can't seem to install the new version, I've never used 'gems' before
I type "sudo gem install couch_potato" and get this:
"Building native extensions. This could take a while...
ERROR: Error installing couch_potato:
ERROR: Failed to build gem native extension.

/usr/bin/ruby1.8 extconf.rb

Gem files will remain installed in /var/lib/gems/1.8/gems/json-1.4.6 for inspection.

and the result of /var/lib/gems/...

I have no idea what you are doing...
You don't need "gems", where did you come up with that?

Just follow the readme on github: http://github.com/RuudBurger/CouchPotato

RuudBurger Wrote:Yeah it uses the release date. Could you make an issue for it on github?
Should make something to force the search.

Since Telecine/Telesync and other versions (R5) are being searched for as well, this doesn't actually make sense.

Unless I'm misunderstanding how this works - because I have 2-3 movies I KNOW are available, but aren't getting downloaded.

- RuudBurger - 2010-08-19

What doesn't make sense? TC/TS are searched while the movie is in theaters and a few weeks before that.

- Dramamine - 2010-08-19

Nice work, Ruud. I haven't quite set it fully up yet, but it's looking good.

I have an idea.
I'm just setting up Couch Potato and I'm using the Apple Movie Trailers Lite plugin in XBMC. It would be really great if there was a "download" button in the contextual menu for the movies in the AMT plugin which activates a script or something that just loads the info (which is available anyway) into Couch Potato.

Could that be done? Smile

- RuudBurger - 2010-08-19

You mean from within XBMC? Yes that could be done, but then I have to edit the AMT plugin Wink.
Will make an "suggestion" page, were you can do the same thing. It's not from within XBMC though.

- fillidill - 2010-08-19

This is awesome and exactly what I've been looking for! Maybe you can expand this even more in the future to also cover games and tv-series and so on.

I have one feature though that I would really appreciate and that is the option to choose where to search for torrents.

- fillidill - 2010-08-19

One more thing. I can't seem to get the userscript for greasemonkey in firefox to work.
I got it from here http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/82148

The popup shows up but when I click on it it's just a white popup and nothing are added to the wanted movies-list.
