Download fine here, what does the log say about those movies?

@daz1uk
Did you fill in the correct login for SAB? CP does have trouble with special characters.

Hi,

Thanks for your response, I've tried it with and without a login. I don't seem to be able to access it from the browser of another pc on my network either though (SAB that is)Confused

You should make sure you can access SAB from another PC first. If that works, setup CP Wink

Hi,

Managed to get it to work, seems I needed to update to the latest SAB, cheers

Great program! I just made it to 3 digits downloaded with CP. Only issues I've found are:

1. No way to notify CP that you have manually snatched an nzb.
2. Special Characters muck up renaming/moving eg with no .nfo CP doesn't find "adaptation." (note. the fullstop in the title)
3. CP moves .sub files but not .idx
4. CD1, CD2, CD3 management is random.. my movies often get rearranged.

Perfect other than this. Thanks!

Start on Boot (or not) - daz1uk - 2010-09-02

I love couch potato, I think it's great. But one thing that's really annoying me now is that no matter what I try I cant get couch potato to start on boot Sad

I used this guide to set it up http://www.mstuttle.com/2010/07/27/couchpotato/ and everything works great apart from starting on boot.

Please help.

imdb add on no longer works, probably due to the new site Smile

- RuudBurger - 2010-09-05

Any way to get the new IMDB? I'm still seeing the old one, so the scripts still works for me.

it actually just changed over whilst I was browsing it, so there probably rolling it out worldwide now, its the Userscript that wont show up in Chrome anymore due to the new layout, adding movies in the normal app still scrapes fine Smile

Hi all

I have been trying to pay with this app a little and did some reading but unsure if a reolution was posted. In windows it apears as though the quality settings are not saving and wondered if there was a resolution?

Correction a restart seems to have saved the settings.

Nice app and great work now if I can figure it out I should be dong well.

Do you have a screenshot of the new lay-out ?
I see it like below ... and it still works for me

My home page looks like this :

I set up Couch Potato on Sunday and added a load of movies or which a few got downloaded.

Something went wrong with my set up and I lost all the Couch Potato downloads. I have reset it up this evening and wanted to readd some of the movies which got downloaded so that Couch Potato can give me some better quality releases as and when they become available.

However some movies which Couch Potato found on Sunday it now cannot fine. If I tell it to do a force search and check the log nothing seems to be getting checked for.

Just setup/configured today. Love the nice clean interface and how easy it is for my wife to add movies. No longer need to use a nzb release watcher and manually add movies from my watch list. She already filled up the queue, lol. Great work!

I occasionally have problems where CP will not search for movies as well, but I haven't had time to track that down yet.

I do however have some insight on another issue. When CP searches piratebay for movies, I get the following error for every movie:

When I try to navigate to that page in a web browser, I get this error from the pirate bay:
  • "Could not connect to caching server 00"

The funny thing is, I just refreshed the page in my web browser and it came up fine... maybe their site is just overloaded? Any thoughts?
