in my opinion seperate image - most skins have it in the background thought it looked nice to have it as a seperate image

is there a chance that you could implement this like the script for tvshowclearart?

I would, BUT, its not a plugin, its a script. or vice versa. Either way it cant be run from a button. I tried this before. Good suggestion though.

on top centered above the albums the %album artist% like in skin.night?
2.: is it possible to add a newsfeed to the home screen

There's a toggle in the preferences for TV shows that allows you to select either banners or posters; it would be nice if this actually affected every single TV view...

Poster List, Alternative Poster List, Poster View, Poster Panel, Low List, and Fanart views all have poster-sized boxes that the banners are squeezed into, which looks terrible. The layouts themselves look like they'd be absolutely awesome with banners instead of posters if that happened to be the user's choice, but with poster-sized boxes, it doesn't work out so well.
On list, it might be nice if there were some kind of border around the banner to create a more "unified" feeling.
Additionally, for the clearart lists, it might be nice to display the series name in plain text if the clearart isn't available -- that way the list style is still useable.
Edit: Any plans for a font that supports Japanese characters?

a little requests about this view
i think it would be more convenient if you take
Episodes: 7
Unwatched: 3
together to
Watched: 4 of 7
and than, if all episodes are watched you could use your nice check mark instead of numbers.
In this case there will be enough space to ad another information (rating or year) or even make these lines a bit larger, cause even on my 42" tv its a bit small.
what about the posters on this view - would it look to bad if they were just a bit bigger?

If you select "use posters instead of banners" it is going to assume that every image in your folder is a poster sized image. poster.tbn, folder.tbn, folder.jpg, etc. If it isnt, they will squeeze in the poster box. Make sure you are truly using posters instead of banners.
List is a file mode view, its supposed to look plain.
Logos should only be enabled if you have logos for every show. If you dont, there is a great thread where requests actually get filled. Great guys over here.
I will look into the font thing as we are still looking for an open source replacement.

You would pick the view that was the hardest to code.
I will look into the check mark and another label but the posters will stay the same size as that view was a royal pain.

hard work but with the best result i've ever seen so far...
another thing i have thought about, just a idea:
if you're browsing your film collection it would be a great thing that, if there is an album with the same name in the music db and wich genre is "soundtrack" , there is a little soundtrack button (mini albumart?) wich will play this album in background :-)
probably very hard work, but perhaps similar to the implemetation of trailers in other skins - but with that you would be the first and finally the greatest ;-)
btw i use the welo view
so what do you think?
