Are the thumbs located in a subfolder or do they show up in other skins, respectively?

except for the actors.tbn folder all of the pic are in the folder with the movie. i don't know what to name them so that XBMC can recognize. I used Media Companion to scrape (which isn't working now, so if you could direct me to a better scraper that would be fantastic.)

I think they need to be in a subfolder called 'extrathumbs', so \movies\moviename\extrathumbs\thumb1.jpg

I use Ember (http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=50348) for scraping. I don't know if it's better but I am content with it. Currently, there is a small workaround needed so that the program also fetches the cast of the movie. I don't know it by hard but I can have a look tomorrow.

putting them in sub folders didn't help. I just copied some of the pics that were already in the folder and put them in a sub folder named "extrathumbs" and renamed them thumb1 etc... nothing. any other ideas?
when you scrape with ember does it automaticly get these extra thumbs in a format that they are already there when u refresh XBMC?

check that...thanx to hubfred's thread link to a working download of Ember I got Ember to scrape "info" and "extra thumbs" for my movies, but not "fan art" and "posters". I have looked through the options and have ran multiple scrapes and have had no luck in getting the "posters" and "fan art" to scrape. any ideas? I'm running Ember v1.3 revision 2443.

probably when you set content for your tv shows you forgot to check 'prefer posters'

-press 'I' and manually choose a poster for your tv shows
-save a folder.jpg or/and a poster.jpg inside your tv shows folder, then press I and reload every show

You're welcome. Could you provide additional information about your movie folder and file structure? Just tested it and it works here, so we can rule out IMDB being down. Mine is as follows: D:\Movies\Movie1.avi, Movie2.mkv, Movie3.divx (as you can see I do not use extra thumbs, hence no distinct folders for each movie)
Each of them is recognized by Ember and it immediately starts downloading the images once I have selected the corresponding movie. I had to tell Ember "Single Video: No" under Settings->Movies->Files and Sources, though. In your case you'd use "Single Video: Yes" then.

Edit: Just noticed that there is a problem with Ember atm (or permanently). I still use v1.2, rev. 2385

I use the latest Aeon65 and the latest Nightly Build of XBMC with PVR support within.

I'm not able to access the main menu settings!?

I select the option but nothing happens. The rest works like a charm.

Any tip?

I suffer from the same situation.
My solution for now has been to use Transparancy skin and move my backdrops to this, but it is not a sufficiant solution since it is not as nice as Aeon65.
The problem is, as far as I can tell, an Aeon problem since all the versions of Aeon I´ve tried suffer from the same situation with the PVR builds...

I would be most grateful for any help in this!

yes, but he probably enjoyed the holidays a lot, at least i hope so. i will try to talk to him on msn these days. i'm pretty sure that sooner or later he'll come back to work on v2.
