Is there a way to have a "master database" and "master skin" that can be accessed by separate installations of XBMC throughout a network?

I don't know about a master skin, but it's certainly possible to use a central database in the upcoming build of XBMC. Search the forums for MySQL to find the appropriate threads.
Would a skin change frequently enough to make it worth having a master skin?

Thanks. You are correct in that the "Master Skin" idea is if I ever get into skinning.... but in general it should not change much.
