[LIVE] Tablet PC (white lable) - genesisfm - 2010-07-11 Hello, I imported a tablet PC from china with a touch screen (atom + 160gb HD + wireless lan + etc.). But i tryed to install XBMC, the live CD version, but there where some questions: 1. How to enable the touch screen 2. How to enable wireless lan Maybe someone can help me? (ps i'm a noob with linux ). Sorry i dont use ubuntu, so i cant help you with installing packages, for the touch: its possible to install the touch if you install the 'xf86-input-evtouch' package (see also here: http://www.conan.de/touchscreen/evtouch.html). but there are several bugs with this touch in ubuntu. but maybe you can fix this fith help from this bug report: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xf86-input-evtouch/+bug/511747 it seems you should use an newer kernel 2.6.34 (or newer). i am interested if this tablet works with my small distribution, please let me know if you want test OpenELEC.tv on this device and will give me some feedback - i will include this touchdriver and the wlan driver if you want test. - genesisfm - 2010-07-14 Hello Stephan, It's easy for me to try / install it on the touch panel.
