Thank you giftie.

I updated the addon to the last test version and refreshed the database. Now I can search for logos and choose one to download, but it freezes at 99% and if I click on Cancel button keeps frozen. The log shows an error when the script tries to create the directory for the artist. Probably I'm missing something or doing something wrong ... I pasted the debug log to pastebin.com --> http://pastebin.com/vMvR7v14

Thanks again.

You will need to download the test version(be sure to get the Eden Version) from the first page of this thread. Also you need to follow the instruction about updating from an older version(below the download links)

Were you able to take a look at the debug log?

Thanks so much.

Yesterday I just created my music database and tried to download automatically all artists cdARTs unsuccessfully. It seems like nothing happened when I clicked on the menu option. I also tried to download clearLOGOS and albums with the same result. I have uploaded a debug log to xbmclogs.com --> http://xbmclogs.com/show.php?id=25451

Taking a look to the debug file, I can see a 10060 error when trying to connect to fanart.tv webservice. Hope this helps.

Thanks.

RE: [RELEASE] cdART Manager Script - Ghostdivision - 2013-01-11

I just built a new htpc, and i am having a weird issue. My music is on a separate server. And when it asks for path to music library for artwork, i select the path through smb, but it freezes every time, almost like it wont let me.

I am using the latest version of cdart, and frodo.

Maybe its just something I am not thinking of, but I am not sure what the issue is.

Xbmc log does not really show anything, it just wont let me add the samba share in cdart. I do have samba shares working in xbmc for movies and tv shows and music. But cdart does not like the path. I can even see the path selecting it in cdart, it just wont let me select ok.

This is also on windows.

RE: [RELEASE] cdART Manager Script - Ghostdivision - 2013-01-11

I went onto the windows 7 desktop thats acting as a server i have xbmc setup on that, i can setup a share as samba on the desktop server in cdart onto the htpc.....

But I cannot do the reverse, it does not seem to let me for some reason setup a samba share in cdart on the htpc, to the desktop server where my music is.

I have no passwords, and xbmc itself has no issues setting it up as a samba share, its just in cdart on the htpc it wont let me select that as my music path.

RE: [RELEASE] cdART Manager Script - Ghostdivision - 2013-01-11

Nevermind was a permission issue to write to the folder. Aeon mq4 was not displaying the error, confluence did.

RE: [RELEASE] cdART Manager Script - giftie - 2013-01-11

You need to have a music library path set in the settings to download anything other than cdARTs or Cover Arts.

When you do update the addon's database it will check for existing cdARTs and Cover Arts. If it finds local ones, it will add them to the database.

(2013-01-07, 20:41)Dondi Wrote: General question about manually adding cdart.pngs.... My music library contains ~5,500 albums, of which, CD ArtManager was able to grab about 900 cdart images. Partly because of album naming (i.e., Revolver [UK] vs. Revolver, et. al), multiple MBID versions, etc. So far, I am still at a loss on how to get CD Art Manager to grab cdart for an album that I have, that I know is a commercial release, and is on fan art.tv. Choosing alternate MBID #s is confusing and scanning my ~78,000 track library takes over 22 hours... so, I have resorted to making my own cdart.png files. I am currently up to the letter B in my library and have done a couple of hundred so far. My question is, after I manually place the cdart.png file in the album folder, will cdArt Manager eventually be able to "see" it? I ask because I particularly like the backup feature and I have multiple XBMC clients running. I like that it creates a backup with ARTIST/ALBUM.png backup structure. I use this for my skins to display. Currently, I have file sync utilities running all over the place to propagate the changes. If I do a cd ArtManager scan or a backup after I am done, will my cd arts that I've created be backed up by cd art manager?

RE: [RELEASE] cdART Manager Script - rdonohoe - 2013-01-14

I wonder if there is a feature that will allow the script to ignore certain art on future updates. There are a number of arts which I don't like and have deleted them, however when I run a new update they are redownloaded.

RE: [RELEASE] cdART Manager Script - TimK - 2013-01-15

Has anybody actually tried this with raspbmc?

For me it's total rubbish. It just sits there "checking for fan art..." and locks-up the whole system.

Been running now for 9 hrs and there is only 2 artist test folders.

Re: [RELEASE] cdART Manager Script - giftie - 2013-01-16

Could you please post a debug log.

Do you have your music scanned into XBMC? XBMC is reporting that you don't have any albums.

RE: [RELEASE] cdART Manager Script - gnenad - 2013-01-19
