- mischi - 2010-09-19 What to do, to get it working on Mac OS X? - gfoldv - 2010-09-19 If you're lucky it runs on Mono. - pieh - 2010-09-19 hard luck on Mono - it uses Windows Api functions - Ultim8 - 2010-10-03 grajen3 Wrote:Sorry for late reply - i missed Your post earlier. I have tried all options above but still my taskbar remains on top, apart from that app works brilliantly. - LeechNL - 2010-10-10 I've been using the launcher for a while now, and it works very well. I wanted to go one step further: Wake on Lan my htpc with my andriod phone, and then launch XBMC. It all works now, but now I also have the same issue of the taskbar being in front. This problem only occurs for me when I awake my HTPC from sleepstate with a "magic" packet. Turning the htpc on from a power off state means no issues, awaking it from sleep state and then using the launcher means I have the taskbar in front. I "fixed" this issues for the most part, by enabling auto hide taskbar. But that still leaves a row 1 pixel high at the bottom of the screen. It's barely visible, but I know it's there, and I do find it annoying. Any suggestions? - pieh - 2010-10-10 hmmm, my taskbar isn't showing on top of xbmc ... so I can't really fix it If You guys have any suggestions worth trying I can add them to XBMCLauncher ... - CrashX - 2010-10-19 LeechNL Wrote:I've been using the launcher for a while now, and it works very well. Can I start XBMC with a delay of X seconds? When starting XBMC on Windows startup it can be that some sub services weren't started when XBMC is up. To delay XBMC just add the parameter -d X with X equal to the startup delay in seconds. - rflores2323 - 2010-12-15 anyway a solution can be made for ubuntu? - HenryFord - 2010-12-16 I'm using this with the app "WoL Wake On Lan Wan" which provides the ability to send multiple packets at once with a time-interval between them. So it sends two packets, one to wake up the pc and after 7 seconds sends another one which then launches the xbmc... Appreciate your work, thank you! - e2zippo - 2011-01-02 Just tried it and it works great, thanks! - pento123 - 2011-01-25 How do i get it so that this starts when windows starts? I tried putting it in the startup folder but that causes a conflict because it need to write to the config file which isn't allowed in that folder. appreciate the work Btw! - gfoldv - 2011-01-26 Make sure that you only put a shortcut to the Startup folder not the application executable itself. - pento123 - 2011-02-06 thanks....worked I'm having the same problem as some of the users above had. When XBMC starts I can see the taskbar. Is there anyway to fix this? Running windows x64. - Aaberg - 2011-02-12 I'm using only wifi for networking to my XBMC pc. I doesn't seem to have WOL. How can I get the first version of this app, since it seemed to work without the need for WOL? - pieh - 2011-02-16 WOL is just special prepared packet, if you have your computer turned on it should work. Try disabling your firewall just to check if it will work |
