Thanks very much for your efforts though i still can't get those top keys working with the 9.11 release.

I'll try what you suggest and try the Dharma release again. (stopped using it 'cos i couldn't fathom out adding the old scripts i use).

Did you restart after applying the new reg file?

You are welcome Laugh

Green button should send "L" which will cycle subtitles "Thats of course if you have more than one sub for one movie". Do the same thing with "Showkey.exe" if it shows that its sending "L" then you should have no issues.

cheers,
EG.

To the Forum MODS:

I am really struggling with 10000 characters long Cap. I can not add anything to my first post any more Shocked

I hope you remove the Cap or increase it a little. I haven't writen a lot but thats because of using [size], [color], [url], [image] etc... or at least if possible do not include such commands in the character count. Rolleyes

I will have to review the first post for now again Sad

Just updated first post with new Keyboard.xml v1.7 Laugh

added:

6- Channel Up +/ Down - buttons While in Full Video Screen, they can be used to Zoom video in or out to fine tune your viewing pleasure. Will work normaly outside Full Video Screen.

Edit: and remote picture updated as well with new functions :-)

Cheers,
EG.

Just Updated Keyboard.xml to v1.71 Dharma Beta4 Compatible becuase I spotted some new stuff not in v1.7 that I used for Beta3.

Download it in Option 2 as usual for extra goodness on your remote. Will leave Option 1 there althought it has no use now but might need it for future updates. Big Grin

Edit: Just wanted to say big thanks to the team working on XBMC for the Fantastic job they've made. Just finished testing stuff in Dharma B4 and looks awesomely Siiiiiiiiick. Nod And the stuff in the Addons section are Amazing! Keep the good stuff coming Laugh

Cheers,
EG.

Thanks..nice one.
A quick question as i couldn't find an answer browsing the forum..how would i go about setting up my remote so when i pressed let's say the blue button on bottom right..it would correspond to 'Windows key and P'.
I'd like to do this so i can easily swap monitors with the remote as i use my HDTV for movies on XBMC.

I don't think we can send "windows" key but I could be wrong! I think there might be another solution for your problem, but I can't remember where I read about it, I will search for you but in the mean time someone might advice us about this because I really have no idea.

Cheers,
EG.

Re register on startup - ali2k1 - 2010-11-01

Hi I've followed your tutorial and been using for two months now without problem.recently I added xbox wireless controller for windows to my htpc and now everytime I'm having to reinstall registry on startup for the xbmc remote to work. Is the wireless receiver for the controller interfering in any way as I don't know where to start fixing this.

Thanks

At one point I found a tiny little application to remap the buttons, but now I am unable to find it again.

So with the information detailed in the guide I put together a little application to do this.

The application requires .NET Framework 2.0 or later and can be downloaded from:
http://mce-remote-mapper.googlecode.com/files/MceRemoteMapper.exe

The project is hosted at Google code.
http://mce-remote-mapper.googlecode.com

I hope you find this application useful if you ever need to reconfigure your buttons.

Best regards,
Oskar

Oskar! You are Awesome mate Big Grin I love your app! Specially that it can read my current setup and not have to start configuring from scratch Laugh

Would you permit me adding a link to your app and google code host in my First post "Credit will be given of course" Big Grin I really love this tiny app, Fantastic work Nod
