[WIP] Skin mood animation based on weather conditions - psike - 2010-08-17 Hi, I'm working on a skin animation based on weather conditions that can display anywhere in the skin if want. I've made this kinda snow falling animation in after effects and export in PNG files. For now I'm testing it on Night skin. Here is a video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oALoB1x7HK8 What do you think? Anyone with after effects skills want to help? - testmetest - 2010-08-17 Wow, amazing! Sorry, I don't have skills to help. - mcborzu - 2010-08-17 Aww thats the exact idea I had for a Christmas theme...I had the idea for floating snowflakes on Home and then I would put a "iced over" look on the thumbs. I don't have AF and it's not close to Christmas so I haven't looked into it yet. But yea looks great and was exactly what I was think would be a cool XMAS theme! - ppic - 2010-08-17 great work !!! - psike - 2010-08-17 Thank you, I'll keep work on this. Do you know where can I get the list of all the weather conditions and their code number? - Jezz_X - 2010-08-17 may not be accurate but Quote:N/A Not Available - XBMCG33K - 2010-08-17 That is awesome! We were originally thinking of doing something similar for Xperience, but with rings of course. - psike - 2010-08-17 Thank you very much for the list. Now I need to figure out what kind of animation to do for all of this. - ekim232 - 2010-08-17 I don't know how much I like it for all windows, but I think it would be a cool addition to the weather window, especially when displaying the backdrops based on weather conditions. - psike - 2010-08-19 So it's turn out to be really hard to export this cool effects with transparent background, so I can't make it to cover the all screen. Instead I took couple of weather backdrops and animate them. Just for the test I simply replace them with the current weather condition at the time testing so it says partly cloudy but shows rain or snow. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kXoyW_Axq-Q http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7EJSJNH_H8A But I'm afraid that all my after effects skills, hope someone will take it from here. |
