- BlueCop - 2010-10-22 10:47 Logs or it didn't happen! Just kidding but I have no idea without having more information. - jbetzer - 2010-10-22 15:50 jbetzer Wrote:Hi there I might have figured it out. The problem seems to the be native flash player. After installing the restricted flash package the problem have almost gone away. I do however still get a few buffer pauses, but I'll post a log later today Edit: Dont sell the skin before you have shot the bear..... - BlueCop - 2010-10-22 22:58 The two are not connected. Installing restricted flash player would do nothing to change the functionality of the plugins or xbmc. Uninstall it and you won't see a difference. It seems like your connection was just congested. An idea for an enhancement? - puulima - 2010-10-25 05:39 BlueCop - as have previously noted, fantastic add-ons these are... I was just sitting here with my wife noting how I'm going to improve the WAF by adding this into the HTPC setup in the Living Room and eliminate Boxee and Hulu Desktop so one stop shopping for streaming TV (Note: I have only been testing on my laptop so far - can't introduce new stuff unless it's tested ) Anyways, I explained about the searching...and she noted to me that it would very cool and very useful if she could go straight from browsing the episodes stored locally for a particular TV Show in XBMC - and have your add-on be "context sensitive" and search for the particular show she was browsing - and potentially that particular season (if a season was selected in XBMC) IE: if browsing the XBMC TV Show Library for "Brothers & Sisters" (no particular season selected yet) - pop up the context sensitive menu in XBMC and have YOUR ADD-ON for Hulu be there as an option "Search Hulu for This Show - All Seasons". And if she's browsing a specific season - have the menu option be "Search Hulu for This Show - This Season"...or something to that effect. Not sure if adding options to the context menus may involve modifying the skin potentially? Perhaps there is another way to "skin this cat" if that's the case? Anything that would allow the user to go "direct" to searching without having to re-key in the show/season specifics. My wife usually doesn't take this sort of interest in the tech side of the HTPC - but her point was, why would she want to exit where she is on XBMC to then get to the add-on - and then have to type in what to search for when what she wants to search for is already implicitly defined by where she is? And of course in the case of CBS shows not on Hulu, your add-on would search off of Hulu if nothing found in Hulu? I really like the idea of eliminating manual steps to get to what you want in essentially one quick step. I have no clue what would be involved but offer my assistance for testing or anything else I can do that assists. Thoughts? I know you have other things on your plate... - BlueCop - 2010-10-25 06:48 I think the best option would the ability to scan plugin content into the xbmc library. Then you would have a unified interface for accessing it. I am not sure if I can do anything from the library. Also for hulu plus users. Level3 is now mirroring HD content too so you can watch hd again. - puulima - 2010-10-25 18:10 BlueCop Wrote:I think the best option would the ability to scan plugin content into the xbmc library. It "merges" the streaming with local content so that when you pick a show/episode - it defaults to using the local content but for episodes not found locally that are in the streaming provider's list - displays those. Any way this can be done would be pretty cool so the user doesn't have to back out of where they are in XBMC. Cant find the add-on a Win7 machine? - puulima - 2010-10-25 20:19 Never mind...user error...not enough sleep... - matpol - 2010-10-25 23:03 I have just noticed something about the server options you get when you choose where to play the video from on this plugin. On my appletv I use a vpn connection which does not show the limelight option. Just tired it on my laptop with a different vpn and the limelight option shows up and works brilliantly so I am going to try the same vpn on the atv and see what happens. - jarod71 - 2010-10-26 14:00 Does Hulu plus work if I just put in my Credentials into the plugin? Or do we need something else to get it to work? also, do you think we will see a netflix plugin form you anytime bluecop? appreciate all the great work. - puulima - 2010-10-26 14:00 matpol Wrote:I have just noticed something about the server options you get when you choose where to play the video from on this plugin.
