I did enable login, I am running XBMC Live Dharma Beta 4 on Ubuntu 9.10 mini install.

Ok that still doesn't help me. I need debug logs from the point that you first launch the plugin.

Ok first off, this is my first post, made the account JUST to say thank you for the hulu plugin, its working very nicely on my winxp xbmc, and the off site searching is just epic, allowing my wife and I to enjoy A&E shows through the plugin, instead of going to the site and using their player.
Now, my problem. While my winxp xbmc hulu plugin seems to work flawlessly so far, for the life of me I can NOT get it to work on my xbox at all. While it generally doesn't get used for streaming very much aside from the occasional youtube clip, its become the dominant player in the living room. Our child is 15 months, walks around, and everything MUST be wireless, I can't stream to the TV unless I use the closest system and a DVI to HDMI cable, which our son will play with constantly, so I turned to the xbox for streaming.
Ok background complete, the issue I am having is it won't start, its an instant script failed on launch. I've gone through these posts and done everything I can find and do on my own, it wont launch. I found another hulu plug in, this one will run, but starts to give script errors when browsing past the first listing, no shows/movies will show up. I've done the install method posted by cptmarginal on page 17, have all the files where they should be (I think). In post 10 on page 1 you mentioned "if you replaced the "pluginhandle," from each xbmcplugin.getSetting then they should work but I don't have a setup to test on xbox right now." and while it came up later in the thread, it was never clarified on what was to be done with that file, so I haven't tried that.
I've tried it in its normal folder name of plugin.video.hulu, also renamed the folder to just hulu, no effect, I've tried using simpler skins for more free memory (30+MB at launch of hulu plugin) and still nothing. I've noticed you prefer logs to be used with some service, while I don't know what that is I will look into it if the log needs to be posted. I can also screen shot the file directory on my PC while FTPed into the xbox, but the addoncompat.py (and pyo), xbox.py and theres another folder with crypto and some more files and folders inside of that, so I think I have all the files. The plugin was installed to my winxp xbmc last night, so it should be very current unless one was added today. My xbmc4xbox is a week old.
Ok long winded first post complete, if anyone can help me get hulu to even start, I would appreciate it, and my wife would love you for it.

I saw you mention proxy support early in the thread, I wonder if I could convince you to add/enable that for hulu?

Wondering if any of these work in Canada... I know most of the Hulu, NBC etc are all U.S. only and proxies are found quickly.

My xbmc4xbox is a week old.
Try doing a brand new clean install of xbmc4xbox using the regular build, not the T3CH build.
You shouldn't need to bother with any other special efforts, just make sure you get this right:
Quote:-Copy all of the "plugin.video" folders and "script.module" folders into a new folder on your desktop.
-The plugin folders can be transferred as-is into your xbmc4xbox "plugins\video" directory
-Go into each individual "script.module" folder and transfer all of the files within "lib" into your xbmc4xbox "system\python\lib" directory (create one if necessary)

OK, I must be doing something wrong with the Hulu plugin. I can search fine, and play from within search, but I pop a script error anytime I try to browse anything, and it looks like the script error is coming when I try to import common.py. Here's a snippet from the debug log:
