So it looks like Hulu has been blocked on Google TV and as an unforeseen side effect many other users were blocked. I'm glad to say that Hulu for XBMC is working without a hitch. Thanks again Bluecop for a great addon.

I think that maybe you spoke too soon. Or is it just me that XBMC Hulu is broken for?

I'm getting:
"ERROR: RTMP_ReadPacket, failed to read RTMP packet header"
and then:
"ERROR: CDVDPlayer::OpenInputStream - error opening [rtmpe://blah...]"
It was working fine last night. I'm using SVN r35247. I can provide more of the relevant portions of the debug log if you'd like me to.
On edit: I just did a fresh installation of Dharma 4 beta on my Windows laptop (HTPC is Linux) and did nothing but install the Hulu plugin from the repo, and that's not working either -- same problem. Interestingly (or not), an older installation of "get-flash-videos" is working fine.

Okay, it seems to be a CDN problem, but I changed mine from level3 to limelight and it's working with that setup. I noticed that I got the same error with rtmpdump when I used the urls from the XBMC logs while the CDN was set to level3.

thx I always had errors when trying to open a video. Switched to that and now it works..
BTW, what do those CDN options mean?

Does the hulu addon still work in Canada? it used to work without a VPN or Proxy doesn't seem to anymore (akami & level 3, can't seem to get limelight to list)

@johoja - I have this problem too using a VPN on and appletv. It seems fine when I use the same vpn on my laptop though. Can you actually set which CDN to use somewhere?

Anyone have any insight into my "invalid \x escape" problem from a few posts back? I think it got lost in the excitement of Hulu's blocking behaviors, but I'd really like to get it resolved.

Hulu plugin is down. Level3 enabled the new swf verify. Limelight is giving another error I haven't fully investigated. This was as expected since akamai updated to the new swf verify. I might be able to get limelight working again but it will eventually get the new swf verify too. The Hulu party will once again end unless someone updates rtmpdump/rtmplib with support for the new swf verification.
