Eldorado: I am working on rewriting the CBS plug-in. It was one of my earlier plug-ins and buggy in many ways. I am slow working. I don't like many shows on CBS anymore so it is hard to motivate myself.

Donations might be a nice motivator no? My wife will be thrilled if CBS is made to work again...she's deep into Y&R withdrawal...

Thanks again for an awesome setup...

Discreetspeed Wrote:I installed everything exactly as described in the first post but everytime i run the plug in it says script failed. I tried this with the Hulu, Colbert Report, Daily Show, Youtube, and Fox News plug ins and all had the same result. I am using Dharma RC1 with Transparency. I am at work and cannot post a debug log but any advice would be appreciated.

I'm getting the same thing w/ Dharma Live RC1. I'll revert to a non-rc1 build this weekend and see if It fixes it.

Just downgraded to Beta 4 and still nothing is working. Hulu worked once but once I exited it it wouldn't work again.

This is pointless without logs.

Bluecop-
as requested: http://pastebin.com/5w54sywF

this was when I entered Hulu "popular" just following a reboot.

**EDIT**
strange. I let it sit a min and tried it again. The "popular" menu was populated, I selected "no ordinary family - 1x8 - no ordinary accident (hd)"

and then: (no video played)
http://pastebin.com/jciVMHjf

**EDIT AGAIN** **FIXED**
set to play via limelight, now works fine (level3 and akami don't work for me anymore)

- philc - 2010-11-25 06:37

well, now I'm getting a script failure error while in Hulu, TV, networks, ABC News
(and others- it does works with just ABC though)
http://pastebin.com/hwfF9fKp
I'm running RC1 live (runs python 2.6.5 if that matters)

@Bluecop Thank you for all your hard work, actually thank you everyone for all the hard work that has been put into this.

I do have a question..about 2 months ago someone mentioned that the queue and subscriptions might be returning. I am running 2.7.0 and they still are not available, am I doing something wrong or are they still in the works?

I am totally new to this, as you can see form my # of posts, but if there is anything that I can help with drop me a PM and I will do my damnedest to help out. I'm trying to teach myself to read and write this code stuff so one day I can contribute to the masses.

Nope they aren't there or being worker on anymore. There isn't much use in working on the plugin for hulu. They are progressively shutting it down by using a new unsupported swf verify on 2/3 current CDNs. The third will start and hulu will end until someone adds support for the new swf verify to librtmp.

- NOT_U - 2010-12-02 22:13

well that just blows...

Thanks for the info and I'll keep my fingers crossed

Ok I am going to stop whining over the swf verify.

I have seen success with bounties for software development(most recently the kinect drivers). I would be willing to put some $ towards that. I am looking into how previous bounties have been done. If anyone else likes this idea and has experience with that type of thing then send me a pm. I could probably put a couple hundred US in.
