I committed some big updates to cartoon network and adult swim. they should work much better now. let me know if you guys have any bugs or issues. they should have all meta-data assigned.

also I have tested them on the ipad and iphone version of xbmc and they work great with just http streaming. they are the only plug-ins from my repo that will work with iOS version of xbmc currently.

Sweet!

Must check on both when I get home

By chance did you add proxy support to either?

How do you add your repo to atv2? I am using cyberduck on xp. Where do I put the downloaded zip to be able to add the repo via the xbmc gui?

Thanks

Eldorado: I am working on an update to add proxy and the trick with header values for all addons.

rflores2323: I downloaded it with safari download
manager. i then opened it from /var/mobile/Media/Downloads in XBMC

also it looks lile librtmp will be working soon on ios.

cptmarginal Wrote:For anyone having perpetual seemingly unresolvable problems playing Hulu videos, I might just have your solution. I myself have only been able to get it working on my Xbox, and the logs showed nothing more than an inability to connect to the limelight server.

It turns out that the program Peerblock (and probably other anti-p2p blocking programs would do the same) was causing this. The server is blacklisted.

Firstly, Big thanks to BlueCop for writing the plugin.

Secondly, how do I use the above information to get Hulu functioning better on my Xbox? Is there a settings file I need to tweak?

I followed your original install guide last night and hulu is running on my xbox. Thanks for the instructions, by the way. However, only [some] of the programs will load. Some shows that will play on my desktop browser will not play on the xbox (I do not have hulu plus).

---> Update <---
Well what do you know? If I use the search function to find the above linked movie, the hulu plugin will find the movie but will then return errors upon trying to play it. However, if I laboriously scroll through the 1400 or so movies to manually find the title, it'll play just fine. Not sure why, but it works, so thanks a lot for the great plugin.

Ah, that brings up a question...after finding a movie buried deep in the list, is there some way of bookmarking it so I can easily return to it later?

Add Plugin to iOS - mojoted - 2011-01-25 03:32

Noob here. Just installed XBMC on atv2. Can someone point me in the right direction. I'm trying to understand how to add BlueCop's Hulu plugin to XBMC. Thanks!

- BlueCop - 2011-01-25 03:46

mojoted: it won't work yet. as I said above only adult
swim and cartoon network are working on the current ios build. davilla appears to have committed patches to add librtmp for rtmp support. I am not sure when it will be available as for binary install.

Thanks! - mojoted - 2011-01-25 03:51

I'm trying to read the FAQ's and as many posts before posting, but since XBMC just came out for iOS information is sparse. Can you briefly explain how to add adult swim and cartoon network?

it is the same as on any other version. you have to download the zip file, copy it to your idevice and then use xbmc option to install from zip. i just downloaded the repo zip with safari download manager on my ipad. if you are using appletv then you will probaby have to copy it via ssh. once the repo is installed you have the option to install any addons from it.
