lets try not to annoy xbmc team. I posted to the rtmpdump mailinglist and they are aware of it. highlandsun has done amazing work. we shouldn't forget he ressurected the hulu plugin with all his work on the plugin and rtmpdump/librtmp. I have been maintaining the easy bit of python. the librtmp stuff is complex stuff.

Hulu worked briefly today - Mustang - 2011-03-13 05:58

I'm a newbie here & just installed Bluecop's plug in's today. Hulu worked like a champ for about 45 minutes into the first show, and then disconnected. Have not been able to connect since. Perhaps I will reset my cable modem in hopes of getting another DNS connection from my ISP?

I will wait in hopes of a solution, but regardless, Bluecops contributions (the other channels (CBS, Engadget, etc.) have just increased the value of my ATV2 exponentially!

Thanks for all your hard work Bluecop!!!

UPDATE: As expected, no luck with modem reboot.

yea it is too unreliable to try to support right now. if it works for you great but if doesn't then you can try switching your cdn around. I don't know how long anything working will last. Saying its working or not working for you is kinda pointless. we know in many cases they are using features unsupported by librtmp(new swf verify on akamia, new handshake on limelight). I also have a few failures playing level3 that I haven't checked yet. the last time I looked at the logs though. I have seen several level3 logs where they were sending stop commands to the client to cut off the stream. I am just not interested because I am
completely ignorant on how to add these features to librtmp. if I had the knowledge then I would be working on it right now.

It seems piracy is the best and most reliable option out there to enjoy media on your terms.

also CBS plugin is only playing sd streams lately. I am looking into that tomorrow and get HD going again.

HULU not working - figurethisout - 2011-03-13 11:56

I just dowloaded hulu thru bluecop a few days ago. it worked for the first couple of days and hasn't worked since.
It was giving me a SMIL file error. Disabled HULU+. When attempting to play clip or video the "working" messsage appears and then nothing.
Uninstalled XBMC and removed all the add-ons manually, reinstalled, same problem.

This is the latest entry to the log:

<script src="http://pastebin.com/embed_js.php?i=VjfPFz7Z"></script>

Can someone please help? ATV2 without HULU is not the same!!!!

Thank you in advance. Great job Bluecop.

Right, all we can do is wait for them now. They are aware of the issue.

Bluecop-- plz tell me I didn't cause the blast. If I did it was unintentional. Just new to all this and was trying to find out if u guys have any tricks that might help.

If I have to wait I guess no choice. Off to more research.
