Which version should I use? - lopan24 - 2010-08-26 Hello I have an older Dell Dimension desktop I want to set up as a HTPC for my family. It has delegated ram for video processing. I have checked the required video card driver version for the current version of XBMC to play videos properly (as of now I get white screens) and it is well below it. I created my own xml documents to run the video with vlc or mplayer classic but it causes XBMC to lock up or crash 75% of the time. When the video does play it is usually very choppy. The program itself seems a bit much for the computer to handle. So I was wondering if there is an older version that is less intensive that I could run instead? Thanks for your help.
