Hey I was wondering if it is going to be possible to program the volume keys to control the computer volume?

i would have thought that this would 'just work' but it prob depends on your OS
i use ubuntu, and when i'm not using xbmc the buttons on my MCE remote change the volume with no extra mapping needed...

I got the email and checked the website. It said ALL orders within 4-5 weeks. How long until the first orders?

I'm guessing from other posts on the site that the first order shipment will only be fore the first 100-150 so people like me (#222) will be waiting longer

Just got my calendar reminder I set back in April to remind me I should have my XBMC remote around now (assuming a week and a bit to ship from the then June 27th date)......

according to the pulse-eight website some of the remotes have shipped, but how many? i'm number 80 and am wondering if i will have to wait an additional three weeks to receive my remote. many thanks.

They said on their Facebook page it was only 45, ones normally meant for review sites. Wish they'd give a definite number and eta for people's orders.....
I'm considering buying one of the boxee remotes while I wait, knowing my luck by the time it gets here they will finally ship the motorola

Wish I could find a boxee remote for sale at a good price in the UK, I find it a little annoying like you that its all very non-committal on numbers, time etc.
