Nice work on that Santa outleradam!

I got my remote yesterday but havent had the chance to test it out properly yet :/

^^ Thanks!

I live in the middle of nowhere, so mail takes a long time. What was your order number that you got yesterday?

- japius - 2011-07-21 07:29

The wait is agonizing...seems like years ago I ordered.......for the lucky few who have one...whats it like?

- strick - 2011-07-21 08:22

My order number was 23, so I guess I got from the first shipment.

I tried the remote little bit yesterday, and I have a good feeling about it. Had some small issues with xbmc sometimes not responding to keypresses, but I think that is a signal issue due to the placement of my htpc.

Thanks for the feed back, if you have any issues you believe is a fault of the product, get in touch with pulse-eight support

Thanks

One of the people who already has a NYXboard posted a review on the website: http://www.pulse-eight.com/store/products/96-motorola-nyxboard-remote-designed-for-xbmc.aspx if you want to see what they think!

good review Smile nice to know what to expect... although i thought it had a sensor to know which way is up and prevent accidental keyboard presses? maybe the reviewer skipped that part... i would expect the "home" button to take me home? didn't you mention there would be a drop in keyboard.xml?

i shall have to be a little more patient being order no. 200 and something!!

just ordered one today. probably should have looked into how delayed some people are in receiving before i picked the express shipping :/ oh well.

if you want to revise it, let me know we can help out, just send an email. The express shipping is still a good option as you will get it ahead of when everyone gets theirs!

Yes, there is a mechanical tilt sensor inside , so I'm as confused as you about that comment, unfortunately the reviewer did not leave their email address so I have no way to contact them.

In all my testing I couldn't make an accidental key press happen!

Also, the Home key, that's fixed in mainline and will be part of Eden when it comes out, until then, you can grab the keyboard.nyxboard.xml file from the git repository and rename it keyboard.xml we will host instructions and this file in due course on the Pulse-Eight website
