XBMC not playing tracks in album - dazzaw - 2010-09-18
hi, i have a weird issue with some of my albums, all the tracks are displayed properly in library view but when i play the album xbmc will skip past some tracks are refuses to play them, ive check my ID3 tags are ok and they are, even tried removing the album from the list, updating the library, re adding it and updating again but no joy. any ideas what could be causing this?

Turn on debug logging, try to play one of the offending tracks and see what the log shows. If you want us to look at the log post it on pastebin.com.

Well the error is "ERROR: CAudioDecoder: Error while decoding 1". I would try using your favourite transcoder to recode the track to e.g. mp3 and see if it converts without errors and if it then plays. WMA is, in Microsoft's eyes at least, a proprietary format.
