You should set up a bugtracker site like XBMC has or something. This thread is getting a bit messy, so big.

I agree, this is a bit hard to read and follow now. The forum should be for discussion, not bug tracking.

Is the database the same on both installs? All the settings the same?

My first thought was a case issue - windows isn't case sensitive, but linux is, but on my install at least all the paths / filenames match with what is in the xml, so I don't think that's it.

well they were there before in Live, its only since i used the uncompressed textures, however ive installed the uncompressed textures on my windows machine and the logos are still there. i dont know if there is a cache that needs to be cleared? Which database are you talking about>

- boykster - 2011-02-24

Hmm.....seems strange. By database, I mean the database where the movie info is stored - if they were scraped differently, they might have different flag info, but if it did work before, and now it doesn't, then there's something else going on.

What happens if you put the .xbt file back? Do the flags come back? If so, then its likely a permissions / ownership issue on the uncompressed texture files. You can make sure they have the correct ownership if you're comfortable with the linux command line.

SSH or get a terminal session to your live box, and type the following commands (assuming your xbmc user name is the default of 'xbmc' - if you changed it during install, change xbmc:xbmc to whatever that name is ):

cd .xbmc/addons/skin.aeonmq.2/media/
sudo chown xbmc:xbmc -R *

That should make sure that all files are now 'owned' by the correct user.

- d_hero - 2011-02-24

i had a feeling it could be permissions, ill give it a go and see what happens

Edit: nope, that didnt work unfortunately Sad

- boykster - 2011-02-24

Hmm..that's weird. I just switched to uncompressed textures too - I'll check tonite if my source flags are working. I honestly didn't pay much attention

- d_hero - 2011-02-24

ok thanks, but i reckon something has just gone awry somewhere and its just got messed up, especially as it still works on windows. deleting guisettings.xml didnt work either.

Ill wait to see what yours is doing then. Cheers

Marcos is tracking bugs on his web page.

SlaveUnit, you tested the new showcase?

Your opinion is important. Nod

Why not have an option to disable cases shown here? Some people rather the original way.

Yes, exactly.

2.6 had no case in this view, and I (as well as some others, apparently) preferred it that way. IMO it should be tied to the "Show Cases" setting for each viewtype, or else have its own setting in the skin settings menu.

I did give it it a try and it works great. It is back up to the 60fps at idle and bounces around from 60fps -55fps when moving around at a normal browsing speed. I think once we can apply the bluray/HDDVD/DVD etc covers will be the real test.

New ShowCase Beta1

Just copy and overwrite the files in 720p.

Hopefully good comments. Cool

Forgive my noobness but what directory should the files be copied to?

- MarcosQui - 2011-02-24

Sorry, but the only thing I see the imageshack now is this:

I believe that is locked or has a problem. Huh

- MarcosQui - 2011-02-24

langer, folder 720p, directory of skin:

C:\Users\youruser\AppData\Roaming\XBMC\addons\skin.aeonmq.2\720p
