Loving the new updates and how far this skin has come!

I have a couple of questions that I have spent countless hours searching with no avail.

When music is playing in full screen in visualization, is there a way for me to remove the date and time only in that screen (but not for the rest of the skin) during playback.

Additionally, I would love to have all the information (album art etc...) that is displayed during playback to disappear after 10 seconds or so. I tried performing an advancedsettings edit at discussed on another thread but had no success. Thanks!

Settings > Aeon MQ 2 > Extra Options > Views > Disable "Show Labels and Covers/CDArt During Audio Playback"

All the info still shows up, but disappears after 10-11 seconds.

Worked perfect thank you! Now to only figure out how to remove the date and time during full screen audio playback. Don't want any date and time screen burn in!

If you don't require much customization (in terms of background programs, etc), go with OpenElec. Or, if you know Linux, go with the LIVE version. I use OpenElec because it requires very little configuration, and itll boot directly into the program. I use to run Windows 7 on my ION2 nettop, and I never used Aeon because it lagged like hell and would take 10+ seconds of waiting. I use openelec now on my single core ION first gen nettop, and it runs super fast.

Love the skin but I seem to have a problem with using it and ice films
It seems to zoom into a captcha making it impossible to enter correctly. Has anyone found a solution to this problem on an atv2 ?

@ wex101: Sorry I'm a noob here and this is my first post. So be gentle. I did find an answer that solved the date being visible on the visualisation screen on one of my HTPC builds. In the fly out settings list in the album view i chose extras then show date on the coverflow view I was currently in and this showed it on that page but removed it from the visualisation. I hope this works for you.

Is anyone missing their seekbar during playback? I've uninstalled, re-installed several times but still the seekbar is missing. All other themes seem to have the seekbar.

What a great piece of work, beautiful looking interface. Have loaded with no hassle, just one small prob? Visualizations, on previous Aeon, falling back to main after starting an audio track would by default kick off Visualizations, but nothing happens? I'm probably doing something wrong? any ideas? keep up the damned fine work.

I just discovered this skin and have been playing aroound with it. I'm currently use MCE with either MyMovies or MediaBrowser. I really like the look and feel of XBMC.

Anyway to my question.

I change the view of movies but it never takes. I still get the default view which is a list of titles on the left with the cover art on the right. No matter what I do I can't get it to change the view.

Can someone lend a little help with this.

TV Shows next aired cron (?) script makes playback stutter - lazyman - 2011-05-17

I don't know if this is an MQ2 or a script issue but aprox. 90 minutes after firing up my htpc (below at 22:21) and start watching a movie the film begins to stutter for about 20 seconds or so. I checked the logs and did find this.

So, my question is: Is there a tunable to start the script right after I started the system so that I'm not visibly bothered by it updating the shows?

I'm running the nightlies with the latest version of this skin, and still getting the RecentlyAdded.py error. Using the post-Dharma build of it here:

Anyone else here running nightly build and the latest MQ2 and RecentlyAdded and have it working? It only shows once, but then every time you enter a menu and then exit back to main it shows again. Kind of a pain. Doesn't do it in Nox for Eden, just in MQ2 2.8.1.

Is landscape.jpg functionality broken in the latest Eden nightlies with 2.8.1? I can't seem to get my landscape images to display anymore, and the only way to get banners to show has been to refresh each series one at a time.

Hello, i was wondering how to delete/remove the green/blue reflection on the background of my video library.

Sure is! To remove it just edit Line #681 in Viewtype_Showcase_Video.xml like below.

You may also want to edit Line #684 the same way just in case you ever decide to switch out of 'Night mode' and still don't want the reflection.

I have similar question. How can I delete same green spot in music showcase and coverflow view? And still have reflection?

Also I need to know how to delete "next and previous playing song" in music on screen visual?
