qualar Wrote:What sort of integration are you wanting? When I run the next aired script it seems to work without me changing anything.

Just show the next episode date at the tv show listing, I have taken an screenshot:

Much more handy than runing the script. Also, would be fantastic to have a tv guide like simplicity skin is doing:

But I guess this requires much more work

Anna's horns are the show logo, I have nothing to do with it Smile

Hirs Wrote:Any chance to add support for tvtunes and next-aired scripts? I've been using them with Transparency and I love it

I've managed to add tvtunes support (that was easy), but I'm unable to add next-aired script, it's just too complex for me Sad

I have now added support for Next Aired for you.

If you send me your changes for TVTunes that will save me duplicating the work.

Awesome! that was pretty fast!

For TVTunes I just changed the second line of MyVideoNav.xml with this:

Code:
<defaultcontrol always="true">9999</defaultcontrol>

And under <controls>:
Code:
<control type="button" id="9999">
            <description>trigger</description>
            <onfocus>XBMC.RunScript(script.TvTunes,backend=True&amploop=False)</onfocus>
            <onfocus>SetFocus(500)</onfocus>
            <texturenofocus>-</texturenofocus>
            <texturefocus>-</texturefocus>
</control>

But this is pretty hacky, would be nice an option to disable it, you will find the code to do so here:
http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=83925

And one more thing to reach perfecttion, could you make addon settings less transparent? sometimes is hard to read and I miss settings, here is an example:
http://lh4.ggpht.com/_lYSvGaBCYdI/TUVV4E-ePFI/AAAAAAAAB8M/UDeixOGkryU/s912/addon-settings.png

Thank you!

Yes I will do some tweaking to that because currently is is actually running the script even in Movie views although you don't notice this because no music will play it will still be more efficient to only run the script when in TV Views.

Can you tell me. After going to TV Shows and the tune plays if you then quit XBMC does an error occur? I find this also happens in Transparency so nothing different with your code.

That's right, even if there is no theme.mp3 I get a core dumped. It's weird.

Must be a bug i the TVTunes script.

Version 4.9 uploaded.

Thanks Qualar, it's all working great, I love seeing the dates!, just one thing, the addon config dialog is still too hard to read, anyway I will try to look a that.

I have made some changes that may suit you better.

qualar Wrote:Can you explain exactly what you mean because the addon config works fine for me unless we are looking at different things?

This is an screenshot of TVTunes settings dialog:
http://lh4.ggpht.com/_lYSvGaBCYdI/TUVV4E-ePFI/AAAAAAAAB8M/UDeixOGkryU/s912/addon-settings.png

You can perfectly read what is in background: earth touch, funny or die.... disabled items (username and password) are less readable than background items, with more complex addon dialogs is very hard to find the setting you are looking for.

I think more opacity will improve the reading.

By the way, I've been trying reFocus and I love the fanart slideshow! it gives a smoother experience, I've been trying to do the same by setting all screens background as multiimage with this path:
.xbmc/userdata/Thumbnails/Video/Fanart
it's pretty much the same except weather that doesn't support multiimage. An option to do so would save some time Smile what do you think?

What XBMC version are you using because it should ot look like that. In saying that I have made changes that may fix your problems anyway.

Please Wait... - rapidvelo - 2011-02-01

Qualar thank you for the upgraded version of this for Dharma, it's amazing!!

One feature request, The "please wait" when a movie is buffering to start or loading could the background be dimmed so we could actually see the "please wait", or another idea perhaps could be to dim the background and add the poster and/or fanart in focus with a "Loading/please wait' underneath it? Not sure how tuff that would be.

Thanks again.

I don't understand. On my TV and my version of XBMC the please wait dialog is easy to see and read. If you can provide a screenshot of what you mean I will have a look.
