Perhaps the thread title can be clearer... I understand its a client for the sling box... but others may confuse it for Sling TV.

Not sure what you mean by that.

I installed it and I connect to my M1 Slingbox to stream tv.

Not SlingTV.

it's a sling client,
not a slingtv client!

Works for me on github! ...well except for the classic plugin error I always get on everything,
But that's just me! Oh! And just read the rules and yeah, superepo is not to be discussed (Oops! Angel )

I have this installed on Kodi 15.2 on my Fire TV and all I get is script errors. Anybody running this on 15.2 on the Fire TV?

It won't work on anything but Windows.
Opening the sling 'add-on' shows it is just the binary windows sling client, with some windows dll's and a bit of code to run it.

This doesn't seem to be open source at all and likely violates github rules.
It will not be allowed in our repo either: we only readable (open source) scripts or binary add-ons that we compile ourselves from open-source code.

That'll explain why I WAS Getting constant plugin errors with that!
(And I thought it was my box!)

It might be allowed to use this client, but we do not allow compiled code in our repository (unless we have the code and compile it ourselves)

I watch the Slingbox via KODI (on my PC).
but not all the Keyboard commands works.
such as back command.
How can I control it with my Keyboard?
