Hey MC, I'm loving this skin so far, I wanted to give you a huge props in all the work you've been putting in on it, it's astounding!

I'm having a bit of trouble getting my Rom Plots to show up, they were working just fine in Alaska Revisited, the box art and names show up just fine, just not the background fanart and plot. Thanks!

zwat Wrote:and u did not do any changes to those files? i change my files and get that message. i just rename the files it gives me error on and redo my changes to them.

viewinfodialog.xml has been changed so that I get clearart in tv shows when pressing "info" instead of a thumbnail image.

I suppose I could move that file to a different location and then try again.

Nope that didn't work still told me that file was screwing things up so I deleted the entire skin.night folder and im cloning again.

*sigh*

after moving it u still got a error on same file?

yeah I removed the file all together and it still told me that file needed to be purged or some

Code:
xbmc@XBMCLive:~/.xbmc/addons/skin.night$ rm 720p/DialogFullScreenInfo.xml
xbmc@XBMCLive:~/.xbmc/addons/skin.night$ git pull
Updating 3c0ecd9..efac56f
error: Your local changes to '720p/DialogFullScreenInfo.xml' would be overwritten by merge.  Aborting.
Please, commit your changes or stash them before you can merge.

I remember when I was following Alaska's development I get that error on Viewtype_Poster.xml, All I had to do was:
crtl+x Viewtype_Poster.xml then put that on the desktop
then git clone
the paste back in Viewtype_Poster.xml and overwrite the file...

thing is it knows my file has been tampered with. and removing it or ctrl x in windows cut/paste git still knows the file "SHOULD" be there and isn't and doesn't proceed.

Have you tried right click on the night skin folder, then select git gui, from there select the problem file then head to the commit menu and select revert changes ?

- KiSUAN - 2010-11-19

Steveb just beat me, that's the solution Flo.

@mcborzu

Good, at last the new update looks good, but just a question:

Why if i add new icons, like watched, i doesn´t see the new ones, just the old ones?...

im running on xbmcFreak beta4 I have no right clicking to be had only command line.

ok there must be a way to revert changes in linux using git now I need to find out how to do it.

^ Think is:

$ git reset --hard HEAD

If not check http://www.kernel.org/pub/software/scm/git/docs/

Hi Guys,

Sorry to be a pain, but somehow, the Night skin on my system updated itself without me doing anything and now some things have changed - namely the media flags.

While the new flags are awesome, they are too busy for me and I'd like to know if someone could point me to where to download the older ones (they were the ones that were black squares with a white?? border around them - for eg audio was "5.1" using just text). Or, could someone that has them upload them somewhere so I could get them) Thx. (I couldn't find them Eek)

Also, how do you get the flags to display the correct aspect ratio. If I put the correct AR in the nfo file, they are right on reload, but then xbmc overwrites them when it plays the file.

for eg - I'd like 2.35 but what I get is 16:9? Thx
