mcborzu Wrote:Everything seems fine on my end - Files/Poster/Square/Landscape - all available. And plot is now an option to check, view options- press opposite way of navigating, I think it defaults to off...

ok, I'll check it again tonight. I'm also running the passion-xbmc version so I'll get a recent git version if I don't have the option to enable the plot.

Thanks

I had an issue a couple of days ago with the global clock and reccently added. It was on one of the tv shows views (sorry cant remember which one will try and find out tonight) I had global clock enabled and when I then went into the settings for the current view and turned on recently added all it did was hide the global clock.

I installed the Passion SVN version of Night and I can enable/disable the plot info on games for the poster and landscape views. What do I need to change in order to get the same option for the square view. This is needed for Playstation roms since the discs were CD's and the packages were square.

One last suggestion:
Is it possible to add a sorting option. I would like to be able to sort by Year, at least on the console selection level. As it is now, when I open ALA, the first console choice is the N64, followed by Nintendo, Playstation, Sega and Super Nintendo. Its a bit odd to see them listed in this order. I know its alphabetical but with such a short list my brain expects to see them in order of release date. FYI, date is a field to fill out in the launchers.xml file but it does not get displayed by the skin.

Thanks, and have a very wonderful Christmas

McBorzu,, i've got a question, you allow to use banner.jpg and landscape.jpg in you skin, so why the bulk download only get logo?

Mostly a room thing. All the forums guys know whats banner.jpg is but I like to include a description on what the button will do for the newbies. Just haven't taken the time to find a good way to fit it in...

maybe just a setting to enable banner and landscape donwload before the button to launch the script?

- mcborzu - 2010-12-30

I might do this:

Or I might move the options that users need to "go the extra mile" - extarfanart/season fanart/tv tunes/banner.jpg/etc.. into it's own category. Trying to think what might be easiest for newbies/non-forum guys. Plus I dont like have more options then fit on the screen...

ok so each button will launch the script for one kind of images ?

Thats what I think would be best for newbie/non-forum guys. Plus a little description like "Clicking button will download a landscape.jpg into each TV shows folder". And then do same for banner.jpg/logo/clearART...

ok don't forget to enable landscape.jpg and banner.jpg from info screen

I'm running the build from the official repository and I was wondering if a slight adjustment could be made (or if there's any reason not to).

The showcase view for movies is very nice, but why is there no fanart in the background? Other views do have it and it makes scrolling through the movies even better.

Check out this screenshot (made on my laptop, hence the small library): http://dump.troep.net/public/scs/20110104124814.png

There's fanart in the upper left hand corner. If you want fullscreen fanart check the option to 'Show Fanart'

Yes, I've noticed that view option, but then you're missing all the extra info. I'd love to see an option to have the fanart used as background. Maybe as an extra view for the 'showcase' viewtype?

Is This Possible? - rainbowtrout - 2011-01-07

I am Running the official repository build and i was wondering if it would be possible to add the option on the home window to open up the little side menu's (normally accessed by pressing right arrow on keyboard) when you hit enter instead of jumping to the library. just something I've wanted for a while. I tried to edit it myself but i have never done any coding besides basic HTML in high school. I just couldn't wrap my head around it :p

Request:
I can press right on my keyboard on main menu items to access sub items like "recently added" but I can't for HD movies. Can this be added to a future release?

Is there a new version coming soon?
