Transparent posters? - JustinAiken - 2010-10-08 I like to use the actual cover of the DVD/Bluray I have in my library (I turned bluray/DVD cases off so I could use the actual cover) ... no problem for DVD's, as they're almost all square, but lots of bluray covers have rounded edges: There's a bit of empty space up around the corners... if you have a dark fanart with the bright white borders, it looks a bit ugly. I've tried opening the cover in Photoshop and deleting that bit, leaving what should be transparent pixels, but it still shows up as colors when used as a poster. Is there a way to have the covers show up right? - ronie - 2010-10-08 one option: convert your covers to .png as jpeg doesn't support transparency. the other would be to modify the skin wherever a poster is displayed and use a texture diffuse overlay to create the transparent corners. - JustinAiken - 2010-10-08 ronie Wrote:one option: convert your covers to .png as jpeg doesn't support transparency. That works, thank you! |
