[LIVE] Wireless Keyboard/Mouse problem - LastShadow - 2010-10-08 Reposting for proper forum etiquette. XBMCFreak Dharma 10.00 Beta2 x32(I have tried other versions with same issue) Zotac ION D Live USB to HD install Let me start by saying I am a huge Linux noob. My problem is that XBMC will not detect a wireless mouse and keyboard(separate transmitters) unless I am mashing the keys and moving the mouse as it boots. I am using the live distribution. This one is hard to explain but I have tried changing all of the BIOS settings for USB and the devices work great at the GRUB bootloader. Again, everything works normally if I am constantly giving input to the wireless devices as XBMC loads. I know there must be a script I can run to avoid this annoying hiccup. Any help would be awesome. - LastShadow - 2010-10-08 It is almost as if the XBMC equivalent to Windows' plug and play is not on. The transmitter is not activating unless I am giving it input to let XBMC know that it is there. |
