Dharma beta 3, installed latest Linux Nvidia drivers, no sound and 720p max res? - Mysteriouskk - 2010-10-15

So I'm using a H55 mobo with an i650 and a Geforce GT 430.

How do I enable sound via HDMI? I tried playing a blu ray BDMV stream, and the video worked fine, but there is no audio. I chose HDMI audio in the options, but it is still not working. What else do I need to do? I also installed the latest nvidia linux drivers.

Also, when I go to settings to change the resolution, the highest resolution available is 1280x720p. How do I get the option for 1920x1080p, since that is the resolution of my TV?

Thanks

Will this tutorial work on a GT 430 graphics card?
