Before this little hiatus I had, I started working on a CP widget but not for long. At the moment the widget only displays the home page from CP (which is pretty easy to do), but still very messy. If someone has the patience to strip down the div tags like they did with the Coming Episodes widget then it would be alright. What makes it annoying to do a CP widget tho, is that they still don't have an API.

n also just wanted to share this https://github.com/ericmuyser/utorrent-php-api even send eric a msg i hope he helps us do a widget i did try it my self but made no sense to me after 8hr i just gave up lol

There's no need for a php api.

It it possible to create a widget from the WebUI itself. That's how the sabnzbd widget was created. If you see here, they have http calls you can make to control uTorrent.

I can help you through it but since I don't use the program, I don't know how far my help would go.

I thought someone had already done something similar and posted here. Maybe quite a few pages bacl.

Thanks, first things first... I would like to figure out a good way to get this widget to refresh every so often, any ideas?

Also where would you like me to upload the code when done?

When I am in MFP, I tend to toggle around SAB, NZBMatric, CP, SB, and other web sites... and then I click back home. So as a normal factor of my usage, my home screen gets manually refreshed quite often.

hernandito Wrote:Thank you Nick,

I figured out how to do most of what I wanted to do...

I am attaching .rar. file with the modified files. Simply replace the existing files with my files.

If anyone wants to try more improvements, I would love to see them.

what improvements are they? What did you do? any screenshots?

From the Sabnzbd widget

Code:
$wdgtSabnzbd = array("name" => "Sabnzbd", "type" => "ajax", "block" => "sabnzbdwrapper", "headerfunction" => "widgetSabnzbdHeader();", "call" => "widgets/wSabnzbd.php?style=w&c=15", "interval" => 10000);

There's an interval property in the end. I think it is in milliseconds, so it refreshes every 10 seconds or so. Not 100% sure it'll work but give that a try.

In regard to uploading, if it's a single file then just use mediafire or something. Or if you want I can give you access right in the Git repo and you can just put it there yourself. Let me know.

It was a couple posts earlier... purely cosmetic..

I did not add this as it was a bit confusing to setup.
DejaVu77 Wrote:Right, I've been working on new uTorrent Widget for MFP for about 2 hours and have found something awesome, but I need some assistance adding it better.

I have it working perfectly, but it takes some serious setting up! I would love to make this easier for others to do. I can explain how I did it, but I hope your up for a challenge.

To narrow it down, it's an already made PHP script intergrated into the uTorrent WebGUI which is called and displayed inside a widget enabled with an iFrame.

The PHP script is called uTorrent MiniUI.

I would prefer to properly do this widget if anyone is able to assist...?
This widget gives you complete control over uTorrent and updates automatically. It needs adding the same as the Comingepisodes widget though. (iFrame).

The CSS for it is changable, but the whole file remains in a Zip file which contains .gz zips that I cannot edit for some reason...

Dev on MFP seems a tad slow lately. Most enjoying the holidays!!Image

On the subject of iFrames, it seems as though anything opened in an iframe in MFP is auto styled to match. Is this the case? If so, how about opening Sick/CP/Sab in a full page iFrame so it gets 'skinned' by MFP...?

I could add it as a branch edit I guess...?

But if I remember rightly, the utorrents WebGUI needs changing to display this widget.

--EDIT--
BTW, this widget is also accessible on your mobile device if setup correctly!! Wink

I ended up doing the same thing as well, I also added a link to the Jdownloader Webgui. Would love to have a widget for these, but I'll have to make do with what's available atm. My php skills are shocking.

Is there any way to get the sickbeard episode summary to display on MFP? Basically, I want the summary, as well as the title/episode name etc. I've been trying to have a play, but having no success. I personally just want a bit more info displayed Big Grin
